LST mistake

Not new at this but never have I overly tied my girls down until last night. :wall:I split one right where I had first topped it. It will be ok , I taped her up good and will take a peek in about a week. This plant is a sativa blackberry by the way, super bushy! and has been veged for 6 weeks and so far 3 weeks into 12/12.

Hey. My girl is getting to be just about the right height for LST, but I'm noticing it's problematic to move her since I have a hydro setup, and me trying to move the stem just involves me moving the rooter plug and the rocks rather than JUST the stem.

Do you have any work around for that? Or does anyone?

Why are you moving it instead of just tying it off to the outside of the pot or whatever setup you have going?

What I mean is that any pressure put on it from the tie is just moving the entire thing rather than bending the stem. I can't get the stem to move at any noticeable angle.

I guess I should have waited until I was thinking clear, I have been sick for 3 days, Arrg! I tie from at least 4 directions lightly. But I agree AZ, I tied too far in.

Ahhhh I see, not a dro grower but can you tape the pots down or is the stem actually shifting in the medium in the pot?

I'd secure the pots if that's not an option isolate the stem.. Ie tie off from four sides in the same location on the stem to try to bend the top.. If that's not an option I guess throw a screen over it? I dono ha hope that helped?

Yeah, it's shifting in the rooter itself. I will try to tie it off and move it accordingly in the upper portions and see if that works. Have like 50 feet of training wire, may as well use it.
