Plant problem please look.

Hey guys I seem to be having a problem with my plant, I've tried to do some research to find out what it could be but I am still unsure. There seems to be bronzing/browning on some of the leaves, not all plants are like this but the bronzing/browning is starting to appear on other plants. They are in soil (promix hp) and I am using flora 3 part series nutes (micro-gro-bloom) I have only given them nutes 3 times at the recommended amount. I believe the problem started after giving them nutes, maybe they can't handle it? I will post some pics, hopefully someone might have an idea of what it could be, Thanks so much guys.

give it a fresh water feeding with pH of water and then resume at quarter or half dose, you can't give doses as directed until there mature, it's way too strong, even then it varys strain to strain...

Whats your ph at? How often to you water? How much time do you allow in between feedings?

also let me tell you the three part series works very good, but if you want to save some money try the Maxi series, its half the price and will last you twice as long, its by GH.

Also, more nutes isn't really going to help you get better results, they just need to be there in available not too high of a dose not to low...

will you grow taller if you take two vitamins every day instead of one? No lol...

Always remember that and get you some maxi series! I mean it.

Thanks for the responses guys sorry I should have put more info, I water them every 2-3 days they're in 1 gallon pots. Using liquid ph drops , to my eye the ph is from 6.0-6.5 colour range. I do put a few drops of ph up in the mix when I used nutes. Before using nutes I used tap water and did not check the ph, I did one time with the drops I believe it was around the 7 mark. They are under 600 watt MH now, just increased 200 today, was 400 before and 200 when started. I watered them a few hours ago with a half strength nute watering, I don't feel that was a good idea as to hearing to give them plain water. Thinking about giving them some plain water, not sure though because they had a decent watering a few hours ago.

Hey thanks for the info I will check out the maxi series. I am not trying to give them as much nutes as I can I thought it was a fair amount but this is my 1st rodeo lol. Will definitely back off on the nutes.

Imo try to keep the ph around 6.4-6.6 in soil. Also make sure that the pot dries out completely in between waterings. Imo it looks like it could be a ph problem, over watering, or lock out. How long do you go in between feedings? Like whats your schedule, water/feed/water/feed?

if you switch to Mac see you won't have to ever test your pH again, I pick up mine either maybe a few times a year to check runoff, it's all balanced, always between 6.0 and 6.3, it's quick convenient and cheap, some sativa strains need a little bit of Cal Mag during stretch tho...

Flush it out with pH water equal to container size, water in 2-3 days half strength...

I water at 600-800 ppm in veg, every watering, flush week 2 of flower, then water 1000-1200 every watering in flower...

then again i probably do a lot of things different than most,

Its promix, keep ph lower, its not soil. Its peat based, it takes time to adjust if new from store.. had something very similar to that happen when I repotted, it was from pH fluctuations, it fixed itself after flushing in about 10 days but now I add a little bit of lime to the pH balance ProMix, less fluctuation, no issues...

Either way, flush, you'll be good IMO

Bigger concern is you trying maxi lol

I would water/feed/water/feed. Imo I wouldnt feed every watering, that might be your problem. Also if I were you I would get some ph down for your plain water.

Also imo I don't think its a good idea to switch up nutes while you are having problems, but thats just my opinion.

Hey thanks for the help, will hopefully go through these bottles by the end. Will go water/feed/water/feed. Hoping these stop turning that horrible colour.

If I were you I would just give plain water for the next 2 or 3 waterings to try and correct it. There should be plenty of food in there.

Will do, should I give them some plain water tonight though? I did give them the biggest soaks of there life a few hours ago but still not enough to drain from the bottom.

It's quite possible that you ferted too much, however the curling up at the edges is usually a sign of transpiration due to high air temp. It could be a pH or fert problem but usually a sign of high heat. Also the discoloration you're seeing can be a result of high heat. On watering, you actually want to let the soil dry out quite a bit before watering again, to let oxygen get in the soil. Roots need to use oxygen. What is the max temp in the grow space? Remember that your lights are going to heat the room up. If heat doesn't seem to be the issue, then this problem is probably related to nutrients, but every grower needs to weed out what a problem isn't so you can determine what it is. (pardon the pun).

Hey thanks, the room is about 25.2C and the canopy temp is 27C, maybe that has something to do with it? The light is about 9-13 inches from canopy.

You should water until you see runoff... Just a tad...

Yeah I will be giving them plain water for the next while, hopefully it clears up within a few days, the one is bronzing/browning pretty hard.
