Ever seen a bud grow from the center of a leaf?? (TGAs Chernobyl)

The question is simple... Ever seen this?
It's my Chernobyl. I started five of these girls indoors so as I could take clones, sex the mother plants, and put the female clones outdoors. Of my 5 seeds, I got 4 males! I got 6 clones off my one Chernobyl female, tho.


Anyways, this is my Chernobyl mother plant. I got her under a couple 600s, on 12/12. I figured I just as well finish her out. I've also got one of TH Seeds' SkunkXXX in there flowering out with her, as they also were unfeminized. I had two of those.(1 male, 1 female) Only got three cutting from the Skunk XXX tho.

Have you ever seen a bud grow from the center of a damn leaf?

My biggest concern is that they start out as a pod-like structure, but they appear to spout hairs, not pollen.
Oh! ...and it's only happening on the one leaf, there.

Def never seen that in 18yrs of growing. Would like to see someone that knows why comment on it. Almost like it wanted to morph but haired up. Very cool to see!

Yeah, I've ben growing for about 8 or 9 years, and I've never seen it...

Its happened to me before as well. I didn't notice until I was trimming the plant up though and was like where the hell did these little bugger's come from. Haha I had to look it up and I guess it randomly happens with some strains.

Ive had a few tga strains do that. Its a genetic mutation. I read a write up when it happened to me and some breeders try to sell it as even our fan leaves grow buds lol
Like they meant to do it.
I did enjoy the chernobyl and wished i kept it around. Amazing lime slushy taste

No kidding... I wonder which one of Subs mamas is putting this little genetic anomaly out there?
Did you ever see it hermie and create pollen from the little pod-like structures?
My main concern is that I'll have to kill her to spare my Skunk XXX.

actually, it formed a nice little bud, it was on a awesome pheno of JTR, i should have kept that one. Another TGA trait is to get 2 plants from 1 seed. One usually being a runt

No i wouldnt worry about it.
Sounds like you got enough males out of that pack anyway lol.
The jtr is one of the chernobyl parents so it could be from that.
Theres a good chance that wont happen to the clones u took.
Most of those abnormalities work themselves out by the second run

That aint no shit... I definitely got enough males out of it. I have a 36 site clone king, and almost 30 of those sites were filled with Chernobyl cuttings.
You know how PISSED I was when I got 1 of 5 female/male?

Yeah, the beauty of the way Im doing this is that I've got six clones of her, going outdoors. I have till June/July to make up my mind whether or not I wanna take some cuttings from them, and keep the strain.

It's actually a very good mutation, In fact you should get clones of that plant, Im positive that mutation raises the price of your strain, You will make a few more grams with those extra buds. I sure wish I got blessed with that mutation.

You've talked me into it.
Obviously, it wouldn't be advisable to clone the flowering mother but I will definitely be cloning my outdoor clones from this girl, before the summer solstice.

Just a head ups that's a hermi its got bananas in the middle get it out of your grow area i would say its to late but if you don't your going to have seeds every where
