Ive grown out mislabeled/crap genetics too many times from dispensaries.... You familiar with inspecting cuts for bugs and other pests on plants? if not, i wouldnt put the other plants you have at risk by bringing dirty dispensary cuts home. Some of the cuts youre looking for are older and pretty hard to come by, from what ive seen. I knew a place that sold bomb diesel cuts in the high country but hes currently got his doors closed. Best bet is to find someone on here thats willing to hook you up, I dont have any of the genetics youre lookin for tho
No duke i do not know how to inspect clones. Something have been meaning to research....havent found much info the few times i looked. I havent heard good things about dispensaries.....but on the other hand i havent heard good things about CL. 2 of the clones(GG#4) i will be hopefully getting are from a proven source(not CL). Im hoping to do 8 plants with 4 strains 2 of each. so that leaves 3 strains 6 plants.
Im kinda new here so i dont really want to go around asking for clones. I really come here for knowledge.....and boy i get tons of it here(I FUCKING LOVE THIS SITE.......sorry). If i get clones off of here it would be great but im not really pushing for it. Plus start date is JUNE 5-11 so not much time.
CL seems to be my best opinion. The upside seems to be here in the awesome state of Colorado there is alot of genetics running around. Esp. on CL. The downside seems to be all the downside i would get if i went to a dispensary(bugs, poor/wrong genetics,ect). I have been doin alot of research with what CL has for the last 8 months or so. Saving ads, contacting people, and researching strains(prolly doin that WAY too much). Some of the people i have contacted seem to take it very serious. Very business like and very knowledgeable.
Some of those you can get seeds from breeders. But sometimes that is also a craps shoot on the actual genetics, plus you gotta hunt, well, don't have too, esp if you get F5s or S1s or something.
Seeds arent something i would like to do at the moment. In the future i would love to but im kinda on a deadline. Most likely moving to different house in Nov.
I have found a few people with diesel from CL. One source that seems pretty legit says he has AJs cut of sour d(i didnt even know about it til i did some research) and some 'Bay area cut' of GDP. I have come across a few others with GDP and i think i could find someone else with SD. I could buy one of each from each person gives me better chance of acquiring the real genetics.
I have also been communicating with a guy for a few months that i found on CL. he only does clones and up until recently the ONLY strain he sold was Chernobyl (bloodwreak pheno...might have spelled wrong). I have read some awesome things about this strain and also the pheno.
I guess CL is what i will have to do til a better option comes around. I know its a big chance(less if i can learn how to identify issues/bugs with clones) but at this point one that im willing to take.
