Anyone putting clones out yet?

All regular seeds will be considered a 12/12 strain. Some will need 12 hours of darkness some will need 14 hours of darkness to maintain flowering cycle. The plants will start their flower period when the light cycle gets to the genetic trigger point for that strain. To "STAY" in flower that dark period must be maintained. 12/12 is the easy/safe cycle that encompasses all strains (except auto's). I put 5 strains out this year with only 13 1/2 hours of light. they were all being re-vegged at the time and all flipped back. No problems.
Do some reading on Gas Lantern technique. There is good info on light requirement with in them.
Ha ha, two months ago, because of my mistake, one plant began to show pistils and I was very worried then many kind people on Rollitup told me that the plant will be re-vegged and that's true, I can see some pistils but the plant is still in the veg period. I must tell you that the two mother plant are under 24 hours light now.
So, according to your experience, I can put them outside? Because outdoor light hour is more than 14 hours and they won't be flowering?
I really need your expertise because now I have nearly 60 clones.

I am no expert but go by what has worked for me and the experiences of those I trust. If I had to have them moved outside for whatever reason and I was worried about short light cycle causing the plants to start the flower cycle .
First I would make sure temperature ranges were appropriate.
Then I would check exact sun rise/set times for my local area.
If the amount of dark period does not coincide with my knowledge of my strain or at least my "Gut Feeling" I would simply add a light source (on one end or the other) to manipulate the light cycle same as indoors. You could even setup two timers and extend a little each way. You don't need major amounts of light to accomplish this. Kind of like a small light leak screwing up an indoor grow.

Try to contact the breeder or seed house and get their input. They should have the specifics if you ask.
Short of any of that.
Study the sun rise and set chart and figure out when your light cycle soot's you. Then if the timing still scares you and your not up for light manipulation.........Put one new clone outside. if it flowers you have 59 more that did not. If it doesn't flower.....you have 59 other clones that are only two weeks behind. What ever you choose right or wrong, the experience is what will help you to become a Great grower.

No personally.... Dang dude 60 clones???? you can afford to kill a couple ....just for the experience alone. LOL. :bigjoint:

I would put them on a 18/6 light schedule, it will make the transition outdoors a lot less stressful and won't tweak them out. June 1st is always a good safe day to put clones out side in the US
