Inspection coming up

I am growing in a medicinal legal state and have my medical card to grow up to 12 plants, but I am renting and my landlord does not know, so id rather keep it to myself to reduce problems.

I have a city inspection of my house im renting coming up, and im trying to decide what to do. My inspection is at 9am. My plants are currently in veg, and i plan on flipping asap.

I plan to tear down my room, and likely put my plants in a closet upstairs behind all of my clothes hanging. Im thinking of putting my plants in dark at 11 pm the day before, and setting my room back up and putting my plants back under light at 11 am. This would start my 12/12 being from 11-11.

Does this sound like a solid plan?

yea, I think I have read that's it's ok to have them in the dark for a few days if needed.. This resets their clock and get's them budding quickly... It's just something I remember reading don't take it for scripture..

Could you possibly get them out of the house if needed? Put them in a box in your car or something?

they will probably smell them. they smell even in veg. you may not notice because if you're around it enough you get more immune to the smell. i know this because several of my friends who do not smoke tell me. also in mi i believe they changed it so you have to let your landlord know now. it's a problem because a lot of landlords pay utilities and don't like when their bill goes way up. also grows can really destroy property if you're putting holes in walls. city inspection most likely will look in every room. they check for smoke detectors. they also make sure you have more than one exit in case of fire. can you just put them in the trunk of your car? i would remove them from the property. us smokers dont realize how strong the smell is. i also suggest to find a land lord that is cool with it or just tell yours you will move out because you want to grow. if you're using enough power, i imagine they're going to bitch at some point. you should get the utilities put in your name if you're using a lot of power. you also build up good credit if you pay your bill on time. just make sure it doesn't go higher than the amount of money you claim you make every year when you do your taxes.

Hey there grower. First, you have the right to grow your quota and cannot be evicted for that. I do understand you would prefer to keep it under wrap, so talk and/or problems do not show up. Second, I would not dis-mantle anything. Instead, I would either mix in a bunch of tomato plants (or similar) that are the approximate height and they would not know the difference. Tell them you are a are an organic vegetable grower. You could even temporarily put 5 gal buckets over your girls and say those are in germination. There should not be any noticeable smell, unless you have used the tent or area previously. I lived very close to a town years back and grew some outdoor in my garden. I mixed the grow into tomatoes and when I started seeing tomatoes, I put green Christmas bulbs on the girls and replaced them with red ones later (lol). Worked great. Good luck bro! Peace

The utilities are in my name, and im sure the landlord would be okay with it because he grew himself. But the problem is the renting company is not. In the contract is says it is not allowed. Ill just have to get a big box and put them in my car.

good choice. one thing i didnt think of, maybe put a garbage bag or some kind of sealed plastic around the box to hide the smell. i dont know how close your car is but you dont want the smell coming through the car and have anyone walk by and smell it. obviously you wont want to leave this on too long as plants suffocate quick. unfortunately you can be evicted for this since it was in the contract you signed. i find it's best to find a cool landlord that will do a verbal contract with a month to month lease. sure they can evict you at the end of any month but if you're paying your bills and being a good tenant you will keep them happy. dont worry about fucking up the light cycle if they're in veg. in flower just make sure you dont get more than 12 hours of light per 24 hours. you can flower plants on less than 12 hours of light it just gives less growth.

Im keeping it in veg after. I actually have an old michigan basement and its all rocks, hard to walk in and hard to see. Im goona take all the lightbulbs from down there so its a pain in the ass for the guy. The theres a little hole in the rocks with a small room, hard to explain. Im goona put the plants in there with a spot in the corner for them and have that corner covered in panda film, then im goona put some crates that have storage shit in them. Im goona put them in there 30 minutes before the inspection, then take them out at 9 am the next morning to start my flowering cycle 9-9.

lawn bags work in a pinch. they are tall and cheeper than boxes. thats how I take clones out of my house when I give them to people.

Unfortunately even in some Medical legal states and even recreational like here in Oregon the landlord CAN say whether you can grow or not... Stupid loophole but true, you can get evicted even with your card. So kind of depends where the OP lives...

Does your landlord have any other properties for rent? If so, have a friend call and inquire if they allow complaint responsible grows for medical patients. Then you will know their feelings on mmj and how to deal with the situation..
