Well, I'm confused as fuck. I can't get the different cases straight much less the endless motions and 'discontinuances'. Somebody let me know when it's over...I'll be out in the garden.:weed:

You know what, im not fucking stupid and i know the government wants money off this. So piss off already and just charge us 300$ or whatever a year licensing fee and sure, why not...charge me 20$ for a administrative fee of Form A and B series forms that need future adjustments. Then we can all go back to consuming our non approved medication and keep causing fire and mold at the hands of organized crime.

Fuck that! I will not pay a licensing fee to grow or use medication just like grandma isn't going to pay a fee to grow aloe vera. I could see them trying to implement a fee for inspections...but when they haven't proven their case that growing is a risk, they need to justify the discrimination against marijuana users vs. someone growing tomatoes. Add in the fact that there are programs in place to ensure everyone needing medication is able to get it regardless of their ability to pay...except for those of us who choose a plant over pills. I'm sure we are not going to be completely happy with the outcome, but just like HC, we keep fighting until we are. How long can the neanderthals in Ottawa ignore the fact that our closest neighbor is going in the opposite direction in regards to marijuana?

there should be no fees/inspection required for personal/non-commercial uses.. but fees/inspections for commercial aspects (to cover the cost of administration), on a province by province basis, since health care is a provincial matter..

Well we all know that isn't going to happen...logic and common sense have no place in mmj laws. Lol

the problem i see is he is asking a same level judge to over rule the other and I am not sure he has the authority.
i think we have a good case as well but what about in the meantime? that injunction only covered "some MMAR" patients...not any that needed changes whatsoever-dosage or site address changes. it mentions it in the new motion to vary the injunction April 27 but then there's the discontinuance...what is being discontinued??

there are 2 cases right now- Owen Smith is the edibles/extract case and the Allard is our right to grow.
the evidence has been presented for the Allard case and now we wait to see what the judge says but in the meantime-the injunction that was granted march 21 leaves out a lot of people. in dec-justice Manson said he meant to leave the people out because they didn't have their permits valid at the Sept 30 date....but those who had ATP's-they would stay valid until the Allard case is determined. if you are growing, you can still do that but if you move-you're garden stays where it is no matter what the reason. if you are prescribed more or even less, you can't have that either because they do not allow changes to the licenses whatsoever
i hope that made sense

Basically.
No one is safe from the court system.
If you are sick. You have a case that will hold up in court if you choose to start, change up or move your grow.
If not. You're shit out of luck as far as a defense.

So from johns site http://johnturmel.com/goldstar
From what I've read I can fill out affidavits and file these
http://johnturmel.com/n13.pdf
http://johnturmel.com/n13l.pdf
http://johnturmel.com/n12.pdf
Then serve the crown with them, drop of a few copy's off back at the registry then wait for a conference call to be scheduled.
No idea of time line at all but I'm hoping to have this interim exemption in place before my current mmpr document expires in July. Either way I'm not paying any money for a doctors documnet this year. Fuck that.

if you are getting the info from Turmel's site, please let me know how this goes for you. I am working on getting the appeal re heard to include changes but it's very slow.
i want to find out what Conroy Discontinued...if he discontinued his appeal, this might not bode well. the N12 is asking for an exemption pending the appeal...if Conroy discontinued his appeal, then there is no appeal pending
if you get the phone call, i will do the same thing!
