BARNEY'S FARM NEW COOKIES KUSH DWC 5 GALLON GROW!!!!

Looking great man. I just started a cookies kush 12/12 from seed just to fill some extra space in the garden. I know a lot of people bash on barneys but I have grown their liberty haze and lsd with great results. So I wanted to give their Cookies Kush a shot. Does it have much of an odor yet? Your girls look great. Looking forward to the smoke report. Here is the Cookies pheno I have going. Looking nice for 12/12 from seed. Somewhere around 25 days from sprout and showing pistils now. She was also topped once at the 3rd node to control that og stretch!20150515_171023.jpg

Hey thanks for stopping by and your girl looks good and healthy so far never tried 12/12 from seed myself but looks good when i seen it done..well just a couple foot notes for you yes they do stretch like crazy mine almost triple but they fill out nice as mine a super heavy in only week 6 of actual flowering getting very frosty as well they are slow to smell as well as gain frost they do both very late..but when the smell comes it comes hard ...good luck keep me posted if you start a journal or you can always post your progress here as well...

Will do. I appreciate the tips as well. Pretty excited to taste this stuff. Looks like it is a vigorous strain. Any tips on feeding her. I'm slowly increasing her food intake and only have her at around 800ppm right now. Using the 9" AIT modular air stones. I have been very impressed with the amount ofbubbles those bad boys produce. Thanks again.

Yeah i ran nutes at 600 mid veg and went up to 800 late veg and early flowering once they got good and going in flower I went up to 1200 but remember I use the Lucas formula until 2nd week of true flowering then started using bloom master and molasses as well..

Looking good! I just ordered a 5 pack of Cookies Kush from BF, and got 2 Swiss Cheese from Nirvana free. I will be growing mine under 2 400 watt mh/hps, in 3 gallon pots of coco, with Bio Bizz nutes. Can't wait for your final grow/smoke report!

Nice very nice similar setup im in my closet with 2 400 watt HP's and she is doing very well so far glad to have you drop by let me know when you get yours up and running...

Day 63 and Day 58 12/12.. Still no ambers on the 63. I cut off a nug off of the 2nd one yesterday gonna smoke that later today and see if its like the 1st one. They both have different smells so who knows. Im very patient for 60 days but after that I have no control I want to cut the 1st one down but I wont not till I have at least 20% amber...:fire:

Give me an update bro should have a good cure on it now by the way how long did it take for your pistils to start to turn colors
 
No clue I didnt write it down :( but once they start they change quick. I pay more attention to the trichs. Like right now im waiting for my Vanilla Kush trichs to turn amber.. well 15-20%.

Yeah i understand just trying to get a clue on how many more weeks for she keeps throwing out white pistils all over and i
 
My bad I watch tricks as well for harvest but pistils can give you a clue on how many more weeks sometimes she is throwing lots of them right now and I have others in the wing waiting for a spot in the room..
 
I have got to say that I am impressed with what you are doing with the cookies k. Mine is taking off like a champ as well. Just did a tiny bit of lst work on her to try and keep a nice even canopy and that stretch down. If you take a good look at mine so far every leaf on the plant is 3 fingered. I'm assuming it's because I did 12/12 from seed. Not real sure. All I know is she is growing fast and putting off some nice side branching already so I'm not worried about that. 20150520_083313.jpg It's looking like I'm gonna end up with a decent yield without any veg time. bongsmilie She has pushed enough pistils to where I am gonna call tomorrow day 1 of flower. She looks real nice and i think this strain will yield pretty good because she is a fast a nd big plant ..and no i dont mind at all post as you like im in here for everyone that is interested bro including myself welcome..i will be trying to get some good pics up soon..
 
Day 53 of 12/12 and day 44 of actual flower I will post some pics soon since I'm topping off about a gallon and a half of nutes and water everyday in the beast..she is so darn sticky its ridiculous you can't even brush past her still throwing lots of white pistils so its fair to say she will not be nowhere near a 55 to 60 day flower more like 70 or more I think..
 
That thing is lookin mighty-fine stinkbudd1. I just noticed this thread, and I myself got some cookies kush plants going. I have plenty of pictures as they were growing and I was main-lining them, but I'm not going to post a ton of pictures from the start to where I'm at now since I'm about 6 1/2 weeks into flowering.

Rather than DWC I grow in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil using Advanced Nutrients nutes.

Anyways, I'll share a few pictures I took a couple days ago. From what I can tell, Cookies Kush absolutely loves main-lining. You can top her and she just keeps going without missing a beat. My grow overall is 11 plants main-lined to 16 colas in a 5'x5'x7' tent with a 1000w hooded HID and 2 600w cool tube HIDs, but only 5 of the plants are Barneys Farm Cookies Kush. On to the pics!

And lastly, my clone tent with Cookies Kush and LSD clones. 2 LSD in 3 gallon smart pots (Not pictured, off screen) all the rest are in 1/2 gallon smart pots until they get transplanted into 5 gallon smart pots a week before flower. They are mostly LBHed. These are clones, but the big plants pictured above were grown from seed.
