You should be proud. Im happy for you and wish you the best.

I'm sorry you had to struggle so much.
It was much easier for for me to get an education.

"Back in the day", The Pie sat on a table, and next to the Knife was a Pie server.
I truly hope your children's "Pie" will still have a table to rest on.
Thank you.

The struggle was hard, but it made me a better person.

I don't blame my mother though, she did the best she could with what she had raising 3 of us couldn't have been easy with hardly any money and my father was never around.

Fun note about my life: My mother had to pay my dad to take me and my sisters for the weekend just to spend time with us.

stop being a pussy, get out and support your city. Stop letting large crowds scare you. No one is going to hurt you.
Tell you what, when I drop in on your city in July, have me a Maxwell street polish ready and make sure you have a soda ( pop ) with that as well.
I'll be on the block keeping cool by way of open fire hydrant

@BDOGKush

He is right, I had a past where gang banging and thievery was easier than working at a job....wait... I wasn't old enough to be employed at that given time so, yea. I also used the money I stole to help take care of my family when we didn't have any food to eat.

Pretty cool huh?
whoa! wait a sec..how old were you?

not for nothing but as down as i've been in my life (and i have some pretty crazy stories) i've never thieved once.

instead i'm enterprising and nothing is below me, except losing my self-respect by resorting to theft of some one else's hard work.

2 weeks ago, i offered to sweep/clean the store where i buy my dogs kibble in order to barter for a small bag in order to feed them.

only bad people steal. there's something off in their brain about being able to take someone else's property. it is true sociopath behaviors.

don't forget your heroic overcoming of getting sexually molested as a 10 year old by the babysitter either.

The only issue with this is that he has people (almost) just like him. I think there are 6. LoL

I stopped posting in this section mainly because its just pointless.

Someone that the 6 don't like creates a thread: Let's all post pointless pics that contribute nothing and post tl;dr and then demand a citation.

I'm still trying to figure out why most over here stay and argue around and around when it always ends in you're racist or some hypocritical statement where one side hates the other so much they cannot admit defeat or say by god you're right!

I do lurk over in this section cause honestly even though the conversations are too stupid to reply to, the content and the ignorance that I read makes me feel much smarter than I probably really am.
who are the 6? might as well name names..

I don't see how its relevant since I know for a fact we had different childhoods, but I was under 13, part of a gang and lived in the projects.
We had hardly any money and ketchup sandwiches was one of my favorite dinners as a kid. Every now and then we could buy ham to put on our bread and some mustard packets. (we stole them as well)

You through judging me yet, or should I continue?

i'm sorry. i'm not judging or trolling you, seriously. i know how difficult it is to share.

i personally like you..just making conversation..you felt stealing was the only way..it wasn't.

how do you know what type of life i had when i grew up? do we know each other IRL?

no one here knows how it was for me. no one.

What I know is that we did what he had to do to get by otherwise it was live on the street. I don't expect you or anyone else to believe this, but we were turned down for food stamps and government assistance. Don't ask for the details as they are vague and my mother doesn't like to speak of those times so my information is what we lived through and what I did to try and help.

Was it right? No, never said or pretended it was. But I'd like to think I've done far more good than bad. How many people do you know that go and help at the homeless shelter and donate money? Or if I see someone on the side of the street and its raining I'll go to the nearest store and buy them an umbrella.

Were there other options? Probably, but when you live in those conditions most logic goes out the window when you are trying to find your next meal.

The comparison of our lives wasn't meant to mean that I know of your struggles as I don't and I would never ask as that is your story to tell if you want to tell it. I shared my story for the simple fact I was on the bottom and now I'm not because I worked very hard for it. My comparison was meant to just say I know you haven't had the same childhood as myself that is all. Sometimes I can be cryptic so for that, I apologize.

We must launch a political revolution which engages millions of Americans from all walks of life in the struggle for real change. This country belongs to all of us, not just the billionaire class. And that’s what this campaign is all about.

To win this campaign, all of us must be deeply involved. Our movement needs people like you to help it succeed.

Add your name now to volunteer for our campaign for president.

Thanks for all you do,

Senator Bernie Sanders
