Thinning out Flora Nova Nutrients

I've been using Blue Planet Nutrients and I've never used anything else before that (not counting Miracle Grow crap). I'm making the switch to ForaNova Grow + Bloom and I was surprised (shocked) at just how thick this stuff is. After googling, that's how it is supposed to be (I was worried I had a bad or old container).

At any rate, I took 1 gallon of distilled water and mixed the entire quart of FloraNova Grow with 3 quarts of water and placed the whole mixture back into the gallon jug. It will be much easier to use now but I'm wondering if I should be concerned about longevity. If I keep the gallon jug in a cool and dark place will it stay good for an extended period of time?

I've been using the floranova on and off again since it came out. Unfortunately for your question, I have no experience so can't help. If you really need to thin it down and store it that way for a minute, maybe get a hold of GH customer service? Maybe they know?
I've always just lived with the fact that you have to shake the shit out if it, before measuring it out.
Mixing up a 2-1/2 gallon before breaking it down into 1gals is not fun at all, but I do it. They make a special paddle to put on ur drill.

Correct me if im wrong, but I would assume the diluted solution would seperate anyway, So it will just have to be shaken up just as much? IMO it would've been best to just leave it be and mix it well everytime you mix up your nutrient solution. I use a wooden spoon, it seems to work well. It is a bitch shaking up the bottle though.

It has separated, you're right. But shaking my gallon jug is easy. Trying to shake the pure Grow was like trying to shake mix a can of mud.
