You mean they measure 68V .51A with the generic LEDs as the load? If the sticker is correct and they can go up to 90V then they are a good match for CXB3590.
Yes 68V for generic china leds, but there were about 21-23 3w-led in series with each other.
Why would I ever need to run 90V though? The two models for the CXB3590 operate at 36V and 72V respectively yes? I am under the impression that these COBS work based around a constant current, and varying voltage, AS LONG AS the forward voltage is initially met.
Wouldn't i be ruining my efficiency running a CXB3590 at 90V & .51 amps?
Could/should I put some 3w chips in series to drop that voltage down a bit?
