Lil green leaves

So I found some mildew on one of four of my plants.... I just cut off the leafs that had it... then went and got a sulfur burner.... my question is how long do I run it and how often.
Are you in flower? Imo suffer burners will affect the taste. If you get some air flow in there, and lower the humidity it should solve the problem
Well I have great air flow. One fan that moves back and forth,I have two inline fans, one sucks air off my lights with closed hoods and the other sucks fresh air from outside into the room.... same setup in both roomsImo, what I would do is spray with a powder form suffer rather than the burner. All the spray does is change the ph of the leaves so mildew won't grow on them. But a long term fix is going to be get some air flow in there and lower the humidity. You just can't use the spray when you have buds, it will burn the hairs and leave a residue in the buds, works great in veg though.
40~55Whats your humidity like? The cause of powdery mildew is high humidity and not enough air flow. Although you can get it from just high humidity if your airflow is good
My plants were quite dense.. full of lots of big shade leafs.... I just cut some outAs far as using the burner, when I used one years ago I ran it for 4 hours while the lights were off as needed. Ive seen people use them any where from 2-8 hrs at a time. Imo start off at a hour or 2 and start to dial it up if the problem doesnt get solved.
With humidity that low and good air flow I'm surprised you got PM, usually doesnt show up under those conditions.
Yea 24 hours is just ez is why I do 24... So should I just go and shut my lights off for two hours? And go back to 24/7 ?Good luck dude, hope you get rid of it.
Yea your going to have to. You can't run it while the lights are on. Imo you should slowly get them down to a 18/6 schedule. There really is no advantage to 24 imo. Uses more power too. I think the plants like it better when they get little dark period to rest like naturally. Also when you spray anything (if you ever need to) or use the suffer burner, it needs to be done with the lights off. Imo it will stress them little bit if you change the light schedule every time you need to do something like that.
Just my opinion bro, don't fix what aint broke if you like 24 and it works good for you
I just flip the switch and don't worry about it.... don't worry about getting light in dark room.... I can see when ever I got down there....Yea if you want to stay on the 24/7 cycle thats what you should do. Just out of curiosity, why is it easier for you to run them 24/7
Imo plants like the 6 hrs of darkness to rest. Less stress too when you put them to 12/12, not such a huge swing in light amount. But I know people use 24/7 with success so this is just my personal experience and opinion.I used to run my veg like that, then I got a timer and a door and now she is 20-4. If your vegging with cfls I say why not 24/7?
Yea the only thing that made me switch was reading a bunch of stuff on here I wanted to try. I still run 24/7 in the grow tent for my new clones and seedlings because I like the temps a constant at that stage. I used to have problems getting cuttings to root..Imo plants like the 6 hrs of darkness to rest. Less stress too when you put them to 12/12, not such a huge swing in light amount. But I know people use 24/7 with success so this is just my personal experience and opinion.
