I don't think the wee lad is a klansman.
He just has a strong disapproval of the title "science" being applied to the softer fields. By extension, his own argument was undone through non-action.
Hypothesis : Wee Lad doesn't know what he is talking about.
Procedure: ask for examples to support argument.
Data: N/A
Conclusion: In this experiment, the opinion on the nature of science from a representative of the alcoholic potato-farming culture was explored. After attempting to divulge a coherent response of merit and receiving none, it is concluded the representative has no valid argument to support the initial, negative opinion of the soft sciences. Further study may be required.

Even with a large sample size (which btw is rarely used) there are too many issues, which psychologists apply shady inferential statistics to overcome.

They haven't reached a limit, if there are any. I use satire as a comparison and when they get stupid enough that you can't tell satire from right wing news, I think we might soon reach limits.
