I like Levi a lot. He's a class act.
He took time to talk me through some of the finer points of effective budget insulation. A good guy for sure.

400w bulb at 250w should be OK for a week or so. Not that it will damage the bulb but there may be some/little to none of the light spectrum missing. Some report shorter bulb life on lower settings?

Cool, thats the plan then. Moving from veg 150w cfl so gonna set the 400w son-t at 250 for a bit and then regular setting.

I've got a brand new boxed Draytek Vigorphone just sat here. Think its for voip calls and stuff. I'm not that clued up, is it useful or shall I give it to the kids to destroy?

They are a nice bit of kit....but unless you plan on using your own voip setup......give it to the kids. We use a platform called Mixie from zulty's. You can set up your own voip network and connect from anywhere. Lots of twidling around with ip settings but they tend to just work.

Ok...so I guess I up and running my first grow with store bought stuff. My first thought...? What have I been doing all these years. Shit just works. Lovin the dr120. Much thanks to @rlx for that. Ran the 400w agri grow bulb via the digistar at 250w and she popped up straight away.Ran the air intake via regular aluminum intake, and it hummed like a fucker. Threw freshair tubing and it amazing. Gonna need a speed controller though. Too noisy on intake. No way to dampen.
So that just leaves out vent via filter and then I need seeds? "x plants looking pretty lonely at mo.
