when they were told to up the DG address limit...they went from 1 up to 2!!

I think dishes means that there will be 2 licensed grows allowed for a DG instead of 1. That would mean a max of 6 licenses on one building instead of the current 4. The total would go up to: two PPL and 4 DG max. Is that correct dishes?

Here's an idea...how about they try to regulate sales instead of production. If the only 'down side' the government can prove as a reason to shut down the mmar is diversion to the black market, maybe that should be their focus. That way a guy can grow as much as he wants or for as many patients as he wants and there is no issue unless he sells to someone else. They got all these guys with guns and badges out there busting dealers, why does HC feel a need to limit my freedoms in the off chance I might sell a bud or two? I hope the up-and-coming Liberal health minister is taking notes and won't repeat their mistakes. Legalization or not...patients have the most stake in the end result and the fight isn't over until it works for us. I'm sure we could find a panel of intelligent patients from this forum alone to create an effective, affordable medical marijuana program that will work for everyone. What a crazy concept...an mmj program designed by mmj patients. Nah...that'll never work.....

That would be awesome but I have a hard time believing that will happen. Government working hard to make things shittier not better.

The government may try to make things shittier...and end up right back in court. What is more likely is Phelan gives Harpshit the customary 12 months to come up with a new version of the mmj program or fix the two we have. I hope the judge orders the government to include mmj patients in the panel that will design the new system. Harper will then take the same approach he has with assisted suicide...ignore the courts and snub the patients. In Harper's world, his extremist jesus-freak views are superior to those of the courts or people. Charge the fucker with contempt of court...but make sure they raise the penalty to include mandatory execution first. On the positive side, if the gov. fails to fix it in the 12 months, the mmpr is dead. That 12 months is going to include an election that Steve knows he going to lose anyway...I don't think we'll have any more CON control of our medicine. They'll be too busy trying out their new election fraud tools.

I really don't think that scenario will happen until after we win the next trail when HC appeals this one, but hope I'm wrong though.

Man, I'm going to have to dig up that interview with Conroy. Could of sworn he said HC would likely appeal if they lost. i'll look for it now.

Oh I've no doubt they will...it doesn't mean the next higher court will accept it though, hence the error in law point, this is why I say Phelan has to really screw it up...

Right around the 46min - hour is where he kinda tries to explain things and possible out comes. glad I watched it again. Hopefully you're right WHATFG and they just go a head a clean up this mess now instead of dragging it out further.

this has already been said 1-2 yrs ago, that's why were hear now, the courts said this was wrong and that they had 1 yr to fix it..... well now we have gone threw the next courts, they neeed to rule to fix or to just allow the old mmar system with inspections, if they don't have the inspectors, hire some- more jobs

your keyboard is in french..that's how you're not getting question marks. if yu change the language, it'll go away.
when the MMAR first started, HC allowed 1 DG per patient. they went to court & it was decided that wasn't good enough so they had to re do it so they now allow a DG 2 patients to grow for and a max of 4 patients per address no matter the size. it would be an outhouse or warehouse...still only 4 patients per address and the dumber part-you needed 2 people for those 4 licenses. that was the difference so no, not doing dishes while typing...reading

hopefully Harper will be gone in October & we won't have to worry about his anything!
the losing side will have to come up with some way that the judge didn't consider when making his decision. you can't just appeal because you didn't like the outcome. there has to be a reason why they made a mistake and the case should be reconsidered

i think it would be OK if they let it drag out but give us back what we lost. have the injunction preserve out previous rights until the Supreme Court says we get choice! (being optimistic here)
