DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY PLANT?

I am using canna coco pro plus soil and biobizz grow &bloom my plant is behind because it is 6 weeks old so would yous say it's a deficiency that's stopping the plant from thriving

I think your roots are suffocating. Too much water, what are your temps?

Well I am just waiting for a extractor fan to pull out hot air then get my 600 watt hps in but atm 21-23 I know it should be higher

If you temps are only that during the day then you growth is slowed because your roots are cold. Get a thermometer that can record a high reading and a low reading. This way you can monitor temps at either end of the spectrum when you're not present. Your temps are probably dipping to 18-19 at night, too cold.

I've got a thermometer they are dropping to 18.6 should be OK as I am ment to be getting my extractor fan today so should be able to get my 600 watt hps in to sort Temps out so is it not growingproperly because it's to cold for it?

I think he's asking to water until there's runoff and then test your runoff. Test for what? Idk, maybe he can elaborate. 18.6 at night is too cold if you don't have a way to regulate the temp of your soil. Trust me I'm going through the exact same thing with my grow now. Soil is cold to the touch, not a good thing. I've stabilized my temps and the lowest it get now at night is 21.My highest temp during the day is 27. My girls are growing better now.

OK thanks I will just need to get some cfl mag in to it and hope it helps.

As for temp I think it's because my in take is is cumming for outside but I have blocked it atm to see if that will rise the temperature a bit I am using cfls atm till I get aextractor fan then can get 600 hps in to sort out the temperature

do you have an exhaust fan?? what size is the grow area? could be pulling too much air out of the tent (*cfm) might try a fan speed controll?


i have just a 6 inch inline duct fan for extracting heat, and my temps never fault more then 5-6 degrees from day to night, it is transition from winter to spring

ill be getting a high velocity fan once the summer gets closer for extraction

I don't have a fan as yet but when I asked what was wrong with the plant most said it needs cal mag or Epsom salt I am using cfls atm till I get a extractor fan

It's in a cupboard lined with white reflective white sheeting a 4 " in take from breather tile on roof and 6"out take to the loft

Because it's an organic fertilizer I'd say go full strength so 2ml/L. I have an organic worm casting formula that I use at full strength with no problems. Synthetic nutes is a whole 'nother ball game.

*This depends on your soil of course, what are you using for a medium?
