Bad Situation

Hey guys, I need some thoughts not a huge deal but in my mind I can barely sleep thinking of it.
I ordererd a fan and filter through Factory Authorized Outlet, the day before I was supposed to get it (after two weeks waiting) they said theyre out of stock, and my order is canceled. All in all, a week after that I still dont have my refund.

Im going to order this green 6' activair inline fan, but I wont have a real carbon filter. I must make one for the time being, im on day 12 or so of flowering (my first grow.) I barely smell it, but am VERY worried. My neighbors only come every few weeks, but soon will be more often. As of now, I have a venteck 8' duct BOOSTER fan. It works pretty decent but, idk.

its going to smell regardless .. the only way your truly going to kill the smell is a uvonair.. duct UV sterilizer.. theres no way around it.. the carbons only going to pull lout so much.. you could add a secondary 6" with carbon to scrub soley the room air before you pull it out with a 6" duct and attached carbon filter..

So I had this same scare when I first started. I just got some carbon pre filter (really cheap) and just duct taped a whole bunch on the intake of the inline fan. Yes yes, this was in no way a professional job but it cut the smell down tremendously and bought me time to get a real carbon filter. Also don't buy a cheap carbon filter cause I noticed they won't last that long. Get a middle of the road one and you will be happy you spent the extra cash. Good luck!!

You'll need at least two carbon filters for best coverage. One only scrubbing the air within room, the other at point of exhaust. I don't know shit about DIY just buy.

I bought one but thats my situation, reason for this post. Waiting for refund, need to do something for now. Im going to make a ONA GEL Bucket with a fan as well. Ill rig up something for now, is Ipower scrubber decent? Ill obviously need a phresh or can filter, but cant atm.

Ona gel bucket works pretty good.
I also found those glade or airwick air fresheners that go off every fifteen mins or so work pretty good.they are 10 bucks or so but worth it.
You can order a nice carbon filter off ebay for 40-50$.

I was thinking about using dryer sheets somehow. Maby line the screen to the window that goes outside with them, I doubt ypu could see them. This is my first grow, and I spent a lot to get everything so I must wait for the refund to buy the filter.

try not to have the ona or dryer sheets anywhere near growing or cut flowers. the scent will get imparted into the herb
