"Texas Flood"
By Stevie Ray Vaughan

Well there's floodin' down in Texas
All of the telephone lines are down
Well there's floodin' down in Texas
All of the telephone lines are down
And I've been tryin' to call my baby
Lord and I can't get a single sound

Well dark clouds are rollin' in
Man I'm standin' out in the rain
Well dark clouds are rollin' in
Man I'm standin' out in the rain
Yeah flood water keep a rollin'
Man it's about to drive poor me insane

Well I'm leavin' you baby
Lord and I'm goin' back home to stay
Well I'm leavin' you baby
Lord and I'm goin' back home to stay
Well back home are no floods or tornados
Baby and the sun shines every day

Anything with heavy bass and a repetitive beat. I love House music the most, i'm listening to it now while snorting charlie off my desk. Yeah, that hit the spot. Nothing like a few lines of charlie to go with my new batch of cheese. This lot isn't as good as the last either. Pretty shit in comparison really.

Anyway, yeah. B-lines and rep' beats. Oh, I love the trip drum too.

Who's stevie ray vaughn?

He was a Blues Singer and Guitarist from Texas back in the 80's and early 90's who died tragically in a car accident outside of Ft. Worth TX.

He was heavily influenced by Jimi Hendrix.

Okay man, but shouldn't music uplift you? Get the feet tapping, get you searching for some E? The lyrics are pretty somber, depressing even... don't go cutting your wrists now.

when i listen to my music it pumps me up. make me wanna go kill folks
You are quite insane... This isn't the first time you've made a comment like this. I actually believe you are telling the truth. You are a rapist and a murderer so far. What's next?

I'm sure you said something before about rape and pillage. I can't be arsed to search through all your posts, but if you are joking I really don't find it funny. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly offended either, I just fail to see the humour.

I really can't be arsed, I'll take your word for it. But to even joke about killing people isn't funny either, at least not in a comic way. Of course this is just my opinion, you may come from a world where murder is so commonplace that to joke about it somehow helps to take away the fear of it.

om a lighter note than some of the posts in here, I am listening to blue's clues. for those of you that do not know, blue's clues is a child show, for my son ofcourse, about a blue dog and a man being best friends. they sing and dance and say stupid ass things. hey he likes it but i wish i was stoned instead. maybe tonight when he goes to bed. hell maybe sooner if this is all he wants to watch today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2 year old son loves that show. We've just worked out blues clues, we've just worked out blues clues...

He watches kids programmes all day, even takes possession of the remote control so nobody can turn over. I'm a little worried about him as he likes Dora the explorer, and Fifi and the flower tots.

Dankdude if you think that's arguing you need to read some of the other threads on here. Besides arguing is healthy, it's good to express a difference of opinion. So long as we don't resort to blatant name-calling we should say how we feel not say how we SHOULD feel.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Charlie? Is that some sort of dry British term for Coke? heroin? or are you snorting weed?? Hmmm... what have I gotten myself into here...

Dankdude; what's the difference right? The geezer's dead, and it was tragic. It's not like you've read his biography or anything, right? The pilot was probably forced to listen to some of Lou's music, couldn't take the pain anymore, and... you know the rest.

arizonared, charlie is cocaine. A complete waste of money when you cosider the sufferance of the come-down. I'm never drinking again either...

well, the British are so detached..a rather bloodless sort and they tend to understate everything so I figured Charlie, such a nondescript term, fits in that category. Americans would say Blow..or Bolivian marching powder...or nose candy..or something like that...know what I'm getting at??

That means dry? I think you are very confused.

We also call it sniff. Is that non-descript? Bolivian marching powder is a bit of a mouthful, you'd be better off just calling it cocaine. I bet your conversations last a while. Where is that you're from? From your handle it appears you are from Arizona.

Rather bloodless? What sort of comment is that? You're either bloodless or you're not. I usually find Americans quite easy to understand, but you I'm having extreme difficulty with. Bloodless... what are we then vampires, you mug?

So let's get this straight, you're calling the British bloodless, dry (with whatever definition you wish to attach), and detached? wtf does detached mean? Detached from what exactly? I think you want to try insulting me with words that only you know the meaning to. Also you've been watching too many hugh grant films, your idea of the average British man is wrong. We're bold and brash, and we don't wanker away from a fight.

There are many, many slang words for the many different types of narcotics. The ones you mentioned are used here in this country too, I've heard it called Bolivian marching powder on a number of occasions, usually in films. I mean, used regularly on the street surely it would at least get shortened to bmp. I bet you're a big film fan, because your ideas are fanciful to say the least.
