Samesies - it just wasn't that kind of party.

And no oil in the bread pudding really. I guess I could have infused the milk? Meh - I really only like the edibles if the weed taste is covered up by spices.

Ginger cookies are my go to.

Buuuuut - today I may do my first experiment with making oil into edibles. My friend decarbed the weed before turning it into oil.

I just have to be really careful on amount.

Now that I have your attention - do you know much about using oil in edibles instead of butter? And how much you would need?

If you or anyone reading this knows that would be super!

I should just go ask @fumble - they know like everything about baking.

I'd infuse heavy cream it would work better than just milk . I have a thread on here on how to make ice cream. I'll post the link when I go to my computer. I'm fighting a hang over. I need more beer.

I would love to be able to make tinctures. I just don't grow so right now I don't have a lot of inexpensive stuff to work with. My prescription is $$$.

Luckily I have some pretty great friends and it looks like I'll be getting a great deal pretty soon.

And then hopefully growing. One day...

High Yessica :) This is an area I am new to myself. I always dry ice hash my material first so I get two for one...the hash goes into coconut oil and the trim into butter.

As far as using the hash/oil/wax/ etc for all edibles, I don't know how to measure it yet. Like, I use 150 mg hashed trim to 8 sticks of clarified butter...how much hash/oil/wax equals my 150? I DO know that it would be a hell of a lot simpler to make hash butter instead of trim butter though and am anxious to find out what equals what lol.

I believe that the decarb process is different as well...as in you decarb after you make the oil/wax, etc. @qwizoking or @skepler can tell you how to do that.

This dude knows, but he lives in the forest most of the time teaching fishing. No shit. So he's not the easiest to ask questions to.

But he said he decarbed the weed before he made the oil, and that you could just eat it as is without any more temperature change.

He suggested melting chocolate, putting that in chocolate moulds and putting "a small dab" I think he said, in each one.

I just have NO CLUE what a small dab is. Hmmmm.

I will figure it out. And if I have too much and my face starts melting, I'll probably have some pretty funny posts! hahaha

lolol...you are too funny girl :) I can tell you how I do my dry ice hash oil:

Dry Ice Hash Decarbed first (but I am going to start decarbing after per @skepler as it is supposed to be a better high and not so sedative) Then cooked into coconut oil with soy lecithin granules. If I want a mild or regular strength oil I will go 1 gram to 1 teaspoon of the coconut oil, but usually it is about 1 gram to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil.

I use 3 teaspoons of this per batch of candy. 24 candies at about 72 mg each...Depends on the strength of your starting material.

I had DUI class today lol and guess what? I'm drinking lol. Alcohol saved my life when I got rear ended on the freeway. I was drunk. I broke my neck and jaw on 3-4-2014. I'm all good now.
