How long does it take pollen to "set"?

I brushed on some pollen onto the lower branches of one of my girls. Does anyone know how long it takes for the pollen to be accepted by the calyx and start growing the seed?

I have a spider mite problem that I'm going to treat with spray one more time before I let her finish. I'm afraid I'll spray off viable pollen!

I know it doesn't take long or much pollen. I recently harvested seeds from a purple haze I pollinated. Was quite happy with the amount of healthy seeds I collected.

This is a photo of the pollinated Purple haze and the seeds I got. :)

You should know within minutes. The hairs will look burnt on the tips of they were hit with pollen. Try using a small paint brush so you can apply the pollen to controlled areas.
