Hell yeah it matters of course it's relative to sunlight and nutes and all kinds of things. I have friend who did a side by side with 100, 200, 400, and 600 gallons. Based on his style with a little bit of an earlier start but nothing too crazy, he found that bigger than 400 gallons didn't make a difference, he topped out around 10 pounds for 400 gallon and above. Really is amazing what just a 12 inch clone can do in a 200 gallon put out in June, not to mention getting a headstart in a greenhouse. My own experience is that with a 3 lb average in 200, same strain got 6.7 in 300 and pushing 10 in a 400 gallon. Don't skimp on the dirt.
