raining all day here so wasted most of it on RIU, looked at the clock (6:45) and this thread at the same time and figured: it's time. @Pinworm , your other thread is dead. usually a bourbon drinker but trying this. not bad; we'll se how it treats me in the morning :)

I was seriously contemplating that at the liquor store a few hours ago. Went with crown royal.
Doesn't suck eh?

hey Out how you doin?

not really, but I think Crown's a little smoother from what i remember. this has a nice color in the glass and a sweet finish. 80 proof. don't remember the price as i had it sitting in the back seat of the car for a while. prob around 25$. 3rd drink now and they are going down nice. i do like a higher proof booze but this is good value for the $$

tag silver spiced vodka is on sale 17$ a 26-er which is cheap as hell here but not sure if the stores in this town has it. I love Jack Danials but its crazy expensive here since it comes from Tennessee I imagine lol 28.50$ for 26-er

Oh man, one look at that rum and my stomach turned. Me and rum don't get along. The last time we met I tried to light a fart and accidentally set my pubes on fire.

Last time I drank captain morgan original and barcardi 151 combo I got so smashed I couldn't stop stumbling from one side of the road to the other. Violently threw up 6 times in a row the next day and couldn't get out of bed till late in the evening because I was that nauseated :spew:
 
A rum story

Back in late 70’s, a guy friend and I used to drink Lemon Hart rum (151). We called it Jim Jones rum cause it was a distilled in Guyana. State store didn’t stock it so we had to order a case of it. Got that, cases of Little Kings and Cokes and bump and a willing lady participant for our drunken orgy. Next day, every flat service was sticky(!) and bottles were all over house and outside (!). I was sick for 2 days after and don’t believe I have had a rum drink since then.
