Early Ripening?

Hey all, got my first grow going and everything seems to be going just fine. We are in the flowering stage and have been for about 5 weeks now since showing sex. The buds were swelling up just fine, someone suggested I put it in a bigger pot and I agreed.

Well.... Ever since then my buds have slowed down in swelling and all the super long white hairs are turning more and more amber on a daily basis. The buds are definitely not big enough to be finished swelling yet.

I made sure that I was careful when re-potting, let the roots breathe, no ripping, loose soil thrown around and watered down. I hope I didn't do something to it to make it panic and speed up its process or something. It could also just be this particular strain and environment, just seemed to jump into this stage really quickly out of no where.

Any knowledge may help, if its too late for this crop then oh well, I am not concerned, this was just the science project. The next grow everything is going to be just right as I have already figured out my setup and schedules.

Transplanting during flower is a bad move will stress then out real bad if its a seed you can force it male or hermaphrodite by over stressing the plant post some pics close up of the buds so we can see wats goin on more.... then again it could b alot of stuff jus throwing the stress factor out there good luck

Rule of thumb never transplant a flowering plant clone or seed, clones take stress a whole lot better than seeds but u still dont wana do it to them..
next time try get up to the pot size your flowering in at the very least two weeks befor flower same with topping or pinching two weeks befor stop all that ,have it in the pot its gona flower in already and you should have some better results

It was probably just the end of a growth spurt. If the calxyes don't look fully swollen, and the pistols are not receded, it's probably not done.

Then again, you didn't show pics so it's hard to really know.

i agree^, unless you have done root damage....i have transplanted indoors not to long ago and my growth did not slow..i have done it outdoors many times as well.(indoors to out during flower) and never had issues unless i hurt the roots

So I got a few pictures of a couple of buds in particular, plz note that they are not SUPER clear, (I tried to find a camera but failed) but you can see the hairs that I refer to. There are about 7 "Colas" like this and a few stem buds that have produced the bright orange hairs as well. Thanks in advance guys! View attachment 3391170 View attachment 3391171

Are you using tiny cfls and tinfoil?
Lol yes in this room because this was just a "bag seed" and I didnt know its genetics and it kind of took off on me while I was dealing with some family matters in another state and i didnt have time to "properly adapt the room.

As for lighting.. Not quite, I have 3 200W Replacements and a 150 lower for the lower hidden buds. Yes CFL, cheap and effective, all have hoods for concentrating.

No Idea ): it was just a "bag seed" offered from a friend who was growing at the time. Some sort of sativa, I'm pretty sure its mothers genetics were dominantly grown outdoors considering the people I got it from.

Yea budding plants need like 60,000 to 100,000 lumens to bud and form dense nugs idk bout leds but t5 and t8 can budd your plants but not well i think that is your development problem bro

Lol I have been trying my best to do so without burning this bitch, including removing fan leaves (debated topic meant for another thread somewhere else XD). which could also have played into why the plant is reacting in such a way.
