this upset the audience at ABC because he was wearing his blazer/jeans combo:

he looks like an adjunct Ph.d with one 'intro to psych' class and no chili peppers on RMP, looking for tenure..someone, anyone..please, hire me????

i propose 2 new games, buck..either blazer bingo (must wear the blazer/jean combo suits don't count)

- or -

presidential primary gop bigot bingo and/or bracket bigot bingo..bracket will be projected when each candidate to drop out (month/day) and for extra points (reason: organic (low polling) or scandal)..free space for a rendy meltdown..

Both repubs and dems are fiscally liberal to the extreme, money printers. This allows the rich to get richer, notice the trend.

Rand Paul is their worst nightmare, a hero of the middle class. If he gets the GOP nomination you can consider it a "hijacking". The only way that will happen is if they want him in position to take the blame for some economic hangover (he will not deficit-spend as much).

You could be right, he isn't Obama or Romney who hold similar views. Both of them see government as the solution, rather than the problem.

He does seem a little more "political" than he was. Maybe he realizes to have any real chance to get elected he has to do that. More a testament on how dumb the voting electronic heroin tube watching sychophantic populace has become.

I won't be voting for him, but I'd say he has a higher regard for liberty than the average dickwadd and a better grasp of economics too.

INTERVIEWER: But under your philosophy, it would be okay for Dr. King not to be served at the counter at Woolworth’s?

PAUL: I would not go to that Woolworths, and I would stand up in my community and say that it is abhorrent, um, but, the hard part — and this is the hard part about believing in freedom — is, if you believe in the First Amendment, for example — you have to, for example, most good defenders of the First Amendment will believe in abhorrent groups standing up and saying awful things and uh, we're here at the bastion of newspaperdom, I'm sure you believe in the First Amendment so you understand that people can say bad things. It’s the same way with other behaviors.

in other words, yes.

in rend pawl's utopia, dr. martin luther king would be denied service at the woolworth's counter because his skin color is black, and that's the way rend pawl wants it.

that's the way you want it too, robrot.

being denied service because of your skin color = liberty? only in your deluded little world where the english language is raped beyond meaning.

I can't speak for Rand Paul, that's up to him. So bark up another tree there.

Being able to control your own property and body, but not others = liberty. This is my method.

Using threats / force to control others property and body = takes away their liberty. This is your method.

As far as Dr. King he said alot of things that make sense didn't he?

The way I want things is for people to interact on a consenting basis, not have you or me to decide for them. That's what prohibitionists and rapists do. Your methods are flawed if you want to achieve peace. Your threats have already ensured the interaction isn't peaceful or consensual.

Would MLK perform a gay marriage?

"
King's youngest daughter Bernice said the following at a conference in Auckland, New Zealand:

"I know deep down in my sanctified soul that he did not take a bullet for same-sex unions.""

Why are you sticking up for a bigoted homophobe like MLK. He probably would refuse to bake a cake for Adam and Steve.

like threatening and forcing blacks to get out of your store just because they are black?

i agree, that kind of thing does take away liberty, blacks couldn't even travel freely when you scenario of things was in place.
