First Outdoor Colorado Grow

Hey guys, just moved to western Colorado about a month ago. The climate is very warm and dry but very sunny, so I'm going to try my luck with a greenhouse grow. I ordered a 6x6 greenhouse the other day so it should be here anytime. I'm goin. To put it in front of an outlet outside beside my house so if need be I can put a fan, cooler, humidifier in there etc. My seeds sprouted exactly 13 days ago, I'm going to plant them in a super soil with the following:

6 cu. ft. Earth Gro potting soil(sand,perlite,compost, forest products)
-6 cu. ft. mushroom compost(composted poultry and horse manure, hay, cottonseed hulls, and sphagnum peat)
-20 lbs worm castings(1-0-0)
-4 lbs bone meal(4-12-0)
-2.5 lbs blood meal(12-0-0)
-2.2 pounds Peruvian seabird guano(12-11-2)
-6 cups of kelp meal(1-0-2)
-1/3+1/4 cup Epsom salts
-Slightly over 1/3 cup of azomite
-24 quarts of perlite(half small pieces half large pieces)
-8 quarts of vermiculite
-6 packs of mykos inoculant
-5 bricks of rinsed Coco coir
-8 tsp of Humate(humic acid)
-1/3+1/4 cup of dolomite lime

Sup guys, I'm aware that nobody is following this thread but what the hell, haha. Tomorrow the ladies are 3 weeks old, from what I can tell they all look very happy, I'll post pics tomorrow

So yesterday my landlord came over, and said they're going to renovate the place next door. Personally, I didn't think it was a huge issue considering you can't even see into the greenhouse when you're outside, nor do I think she is the type to go looking through my shit when I'm not around. My roommate on the other hand is panicking thinking she's going to call the cops on us the second she smells something. Now in Colorado it's legal if it's your own property. So I'm certainly guilty of breaking the rules a bit. So basically our agreement was I'd have 2 girls out there in 25 gallon containers all season for easy transportation. The other several plants I was thinking of starting under this 150 watt hps and finishing hopefully under my boss's buddy's 400 watt he's gonna give me for some yard work. Well that's about all I got for right now happy growing y'all!!!!

As long as you can lock the greenhouse and nothing in your lease specifies against cultivation you should be alright. Especially if the landlord leans more hands off.

I'd still do the whole carbon filter extravaganza simply to avoid pissing off neighbors/tempting rippers.

I've never done a full indoor grow or used most of the equipment needed including a carbon filter but I'll be investing in one now. For the greenhouse as well you say? Can be fairly small yes?

Yeah man for the green house. They will start flowering as soon as you leave them in there.

And they will get stinky. Without a carbon filter and all that delicious organic soil I've experienced a couple plants stinking as I'm driving up to my house.

There are locks that are designed so that bolt cutters can't cut them because the lock loop isn't big enough to fit the clippers in, $20 at home de pot, well worth the investment.

Have you checked which line that outside outlet is on for the breaker? I've seen some stupid shit where they put the oven, dryer, and that outside outlet all on one line assuming all the outside outlet will ever be used for is a boom box or weed eater. Both a few less amps than say, an inline fan and a small heater.

Sorry for the rant. Yes you could get away with a 4" setup on a small carbon filter as long as you never plan on using it for anything else. If you want to use it for your indoor setup or a few more plants someday I'd go with a 6" setup for ventilation flexibility.

lol@ no cultivating in lease. Landlord= lord of the land, can do whatever they want. If they dont want weed growing on their property then they can kick yer ass out. What are you going to do sue them ? lol;)

No but you can certainly play the ignorance card. "I'm sorry I didn't know that was allowed on the property I will dispose of the plants if necessary".

As long as:
A) you aren't blowing the house up with 50 flowering plants
B) you and the landlord have a neutral or good relationship
C) the property remains in good condition (no permasoaked carpets or fire hazards)
D) your landlord/the police aren't hearing complaints from neighbors.

If someone owns a property I would assume they are of at least mediocre intelligence and could assume that anyone renting the house could possibly grow in it. With that granted any landlord who is volatile towards cultivation would include in the lease something banning cultivation from the property. If they don't include that chances are they don't really care (as long as a,b,c,d are met) and just want your $$$.

They are churchies that believe in abiding by the law to the upmost. They didnt even think about anyone growing on their property they told me. But they trusted all my paperwork was in order and I wouldnt burn their place down. Now I would say that wont work for everyone. If I owned property, no way would i let someone grow, bc I know the ramifications of it all...js

Well said. Like I said I honestly don't know what my land lady's stance is on growing so I'll probably bring it up to her and if she's completely against it I'll just have to figure out something else

Yea I posted that for maybe some pointers...
Id be overly nice to her for awhile and then let the cat out of the bag. It will make you feel more at ease. Explain you are following the law to the T

Definetley, out of curiosity are you on the western slope? And have you had good results outdoor ever?
