Led Light Ebay question

Im thinking of switching to LED light but cant find the right light to buy.
Im growing in a regular sized closet. Im thinking of buying 2 of the 450watt Apollo 10 Advanced Led grow light from ebay. Its pretty cheap so im not sure if its quality or not. What is youre guys opinion?

Stick with the Vero Optic if you don't to DIY... A-51 and their poor customer service lost me as a customer

by poor customer service, I mean that I contacted them through email nearly a dozen times and only ever received ONE message thanking me for my inquiry, no response though.

I MISTAKENLY STATED THAT A-51 HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I MERELY CONFUSED THEM WITH HANS/BONSAI HERO.... AS MY NUMEROUS INQUIRIES WITH A-51 WERE ANSWERED IN A REASONABLY TIMELY MANNER

Yeah, I've experienced their email-only customer support. I'm pretty sure I could do a better job at running a similar, low-key business (in terms of customer support). A phone helps.

Who here thinks I should try to do the unthinkable???

Ah, I've never used one. Thanks for the heads up. I'll stop recommending them to people.

The only people that are ignored are those that talk shit, or those that ask for free stuff. A51 NEVER sends a "thank you for inquiries". I am pretty sure you are lying about the entire thing because of that statement right there.

If it wasn't for you saying that, I'd suggest it was maybe that you were using a proxy that is also used by spammers, your message could have gone to the spam folder because of it.

CH, do you know approximately what the difference in efficiency/efficacy might be between new A51 and current optic?

I'm not sure what current EH will be driving them at. If I knew that, I'd be able to come up with a good estimate looking at the charts floating around.

Myself and a friend that I knew since we were 8 years old started A51. Initially it was never intended to get as big as it got, we only intended to be an alternative to Blackstar, Spectra, Progrow and HGL. What motivated both of us to start an LED company, was a combination of all the LED haters, and having to constantly fix the Blackstars we both owned.

A51 needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat to differentiate...

Great story! I never had bad luck with LightHouse products in the past but it sounds like those problems launched you and your friend into a position of financial wealth!

Do you think there is room for another company or two, in the manufacturer's LED/COB grow fixture realm, or do you feel it's, for the most part, filled up?

What do you think about your competition now that COBS are beginning to rattle the presence of indoor growers? Optic seems to be selling a few nice products; how is A51 going to outsell Optic's products?

I'm concerned about that cough you have, you should drink some fresh lime juice with sea salt and a little organic honey, fix you right up. :clap:

A51 has plenty up our sleeves. There's tons more planned than just the Vero v2 lamp.

COBs caught on pretty quick and are changing things up a lot. There's always room for more companies, especially if each one does something slightly different from the others.

A51 is starting a 2nd company in a couple months, it's going to be, well... Can't say too much....
