I'm trying to decide if I should light dep some of my plants or not. I've got some that are almost 3 feet, how big do you guys think they will get in 65 gallon smart pots if I put them out in May? Thanks

5-6 feet in May.......
65 gallons is to small, I'd switch to 150-200 gallon smart pots and grow MONSTERS, light dep the rest. How many total do you have?

39 clones around 3 feet ... And about 20 seedlings ... That sounds like a good idea , maybe I'll get some 150 gal pots and use the 65 for light dep

I have my (1) 1000 gal now. I get a few wheel barrel loads to it a week. It's serious work filling it! Can't wait to see what it does. First female from seed is going right in to itbongsmilie

Just curious , what would be the benefit of using 1000 gallons pots instead of putting straight into some huge holes in the ground with added soil ?

For me its about geology. I live on a pile of boulders. I have no idea how it's going to do but saw a 1000 gal pot years ago. Bought it and now have the chance to see what it can do:bigjoint:

Ah I see ... I didn't even think about that :bigjoint: where I live the soil is like gold but I'm too worried to put them in the soil cause then they are stuck there for good, can't take them with me if the landlord finds out lol
