Changing light cycle

Is it safe to change the light cycle from 18/6 to 24/0 while in vegetative growth or should it be kept at 18/6 since that is what it started on?

that's a good question that I'm not sure about, but I'll throw out my thoughts

IMHO: if they are young like 2-3 weeks old, it would be no problem flipping to 24/0 but if they are older like 4-5 weeks old, then I would keep them at 18/6

At 4 or 5 weeks mine are ready for flower lol everything needs sleep time, thays my thought

Go ahead and bump up the hours to 20/4. She will grow faster.

in veg u can keep it in either light schedule. in flower don't stray from 12/12. as smoke ^ says, itll help her grow

Thanks for the responses, I was mainly curious if I could just go ahead and set it for 24/0 until it is ready to flower.

Yes, you should change to 24/0 for the most growth during veg. Makes a huge difference over 18/6.

I would save the money and keep the 18/6 I have done both and I don't think you will see massive change in growth just a Chang in your electric bill.

To answer the question. It wont affect the plant altering the the flower time to 24/0 no matter the starting light cycle.
