seedlings and nutrients

Im just starting growing but have done tons and tons of research but i dont know about providing nutrients to my seedlings. Do i water my seedlings with nutrients? Or do i just give them regular water at the proper ph lvl? Idk and i need some haha so any feedback would be great. Thx bongsmilie

If they are in organic soil then no. It has enough food for a couple weeks to a month or more depending on brand. If your in a soil less mix like promix or coco then yes, you need small amounts of food....SMALL.

So define tons of research

Hahaha yeah ive been looking into it for like a year actually but havent been in the position to do it and i would think thos would be something i knew but ig not haha but anyway what kind of organic soil would u recommend?

personally im a fox farm guy. Some guys say its too hot for seeds but personally im 100% in it, well maybe i had one not pop out of 29 a while back but since then ive done a couple seed runs too and havent lost one yet. If you want to be really safe you can mix it with a seedling mix that has less nutrients in it, or some soil less mix, and it wont hurt anything but it costs a little more. I plant more than that hippy hemp so i do a lot of seed germinating regularly and my methods pretty solid for a 100% germination rate.

I grow in promix and don't give nutes until they are sporting their third set of leaves. I feed at 1/4 strength.

Bruh, seedlings have starches in high levels contained in the seed, as well as certain strains of bacteria. If your ph is good you dont need any nutes until your first set of true leaves are formed. The lil guys already have their go bags packed

They all already have their first true leaves. Theyre just not too developed, theyre really small

I grow seedlings in FFOF soil , and never feed until week 3 . Here I is a new plant from seed in just soil only. . It will receive its first nutes ( Dyna Gro ) @ 1/2 strength during week 3.
I have learned by allowing plant grow without added nutes I will be able to see if my soil choice can hold its own without adding anything. If my soil choice had deficiencies then plant would show it.

Many growers use their soil of choice but FFOF has all a plant needs in the beginning stages BEFORE starting a nute regiment.

For me there is no burn or problems up to this point. Now that plant is healthy at start , I can now see what happens once nutes are introduced. Start with 1/4 or 1/2 strength .

This little girl is 20 days old on just her soil and water.
