Hey y'all, I'm starting week two of flower and am trying to get together quality bloom boosters alongside my HG regimen. Currently, I have 2 satchets of shooting powder, but based off what everyone says, SP is a waste. Is there a bloom booster that is recommended with house and garden? A combo perhaps? How do you use it?

I use a concentrated ripening Powder from GH,Gradual dose increases though.House plants require very little 1/8 tsp per gal and Cannabis has to be gradually brought to correct dosage which will vary by strain..A max of 3/4 tsp per Gal..You can see the difference overnight.You need to be running you're chosen dose by week four though,this is when Cola size doubles for Me..

Bloom boosters are all the same. You don't need to spend a lot (and I'm not sure their use even does anything). Anything exceptionally high in P will do it. Hi-Yield SuperPhosphate ($10 for 4 lbs). GrowMore Hawaiian Bud & Bloom ($8 for 2 lbs). GH KoolBloom powder is 2lbs for $25.

The trick is to know how much to use. You want an NPK ratio around 1-3-2. I have a spreadsheet that makes it easy to see how much to reduce base nutrients, how much phosphate to add to get a reasonable NPK ratio and ppm strength.

When I used GH Koolbloom I cut the base nutes in half and added 1/4 tsp Koolbloom powder per gallon.

Bloom boosters are a crock of shit. Dont waste your money on them. You will get a better yield if you use a well balanced nutrient like 10-10-10 throughout the whole grow. Your leaves should be green when you harvest your plant, keep that in mind.

Does SP have a guaranteed analysis? If so, what does it say. Usually these things are all the same. 0-50-32 for MOAB, 2-45-28 for GH Koolbloom. You just choose which cartoon label (cannabis tax) you want to pay for.

Or, spend $6 on Grow More Hawaiian Bud & Bloom which is 5-50-17. Or, Hula Bloom (0-50-30).

All you're going to do is reduce your base nutes and add the booster to get an NPK ratio of something like 1-4-3 and the same PPMs you had with full-strength base nutes.
