Well i dont recall being given that option when i got my license. What i do remember when i first got was thinking how long before the cops come down to check me out...as i seem to recall that was a given at the time i got my license. What surprised me was that i never had that knock on my door....

It was a box that you could check if you wanted HC to notify your local police.
It was an option in the early mmar days, might have been removed as an option near the end.

Myself...I made the choice of talking to a supervisor at the cop shop to tell him what I was doing. Had a good chat, never had one ounce of problem from them. ( pun intended )

They can also find out if you state the reason for your mandatory police check which was a requirement from HC.

That wasn't mandatory as I learnt later from other customers who went in and said they need it for a job. HC accepted them all. When I went in to renew my GD license last time the Surrey RCMP charged me 2x the normal rate since I mentioned NC as now I had to submit my hands for finger printing on some fancy digital machine. Anyone else who just said its for work got a normal short penetration anal probe. At least the girl holding my hand was quite hot.

Yep...I thought long and hard about this issue.
I could have said it was for a "job", but that lie would be sent to HC and they would see it.
In London there was a longer wait and I think added cost too....can't really remember.

I'm pretty sure the question was gone....I did mine within 2 weeks of the mmpr notification....
I just checked my copy of the application parts A thru C...I don't see that question there.
So I think you are correct Leaf....it has been removed.

I said I was applying for a job working within HC as a contractor. 5 yrs and no one said shit, normal charges, you do not have to tell them what it was for, just HC, under lawyers opinion.
