DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

Right but microwatts. We only need 1. Or maybe 1 is too much.

Back to those UVB strings. I wonder what the frequency is. I don't worry about the power now.
365-370. Probably worth spending the extra 10.00 to not get UVA.

The sheer propensity for getting this wrong reminds of those never remembered early pioneers in poison gas development

So, we need something in the 50 microwatt range. And they have that already in T8 sized CFL. :)

Zilla Desert 50 bulb (50 microwatts per second/cm2)

Quick question - is anyone powering multiple drivers off of one AC plug? Just wondering if anyone has done this and whether separating each driver to its own AC plug is a better idea.

Get your units straight (again).
You need "something in the 50 microwatt range" only if you're trying to cover 1 cm^2. That is less than 1/6 sq inch. And that's recommended power for reptiles.
50 microwatts/cm^2 is about 46 mW/sqft.

All that ^^ is why I asked. Not worth the price and out of the range we want. When they become available I'm sure it will be huge and we'll all hear about it

So, go Megawatt. Solves everything. Raw power. :) IAC, the point is they already have that.

So, if you are not really stoned, then why not?
