Day 22 for bigger plants theyre afghani kush about 15 days for others, strawberry blue and sensi star. I think the one afghani has a N deficiency but why wouldnt they both have lower yellow leaves?i watered it good then the yellow leaves perked up but still shriveled, maby it sent some nitrogen to the leaves?

How's the run off is it coming out the same as what your putting in if not flush her with 50% nutrients till the level is the same or a bit lower then your goal then leave for a coupe of days to dry and and on the next watering check the ph and EC again you might not be getting a good run off and the stuff at the bottom of the pot is just sitting at the base if you can once you have done your feeding and got your 10% run off tip the tray out and that way the plant doesn't use that run off water

As that's is waste and stopping you from a nutrient build up but if you just leave them in the bottom of there waste they will reuse it and that is not good for your plants

Ill check the run off ppm and ph tonight. I have tap water that sat out, ill write down the waters ppm and ph then the runoff ppm and ph. Then ill get back with the numbers, just wanted you to see it before I do anything so I can get on the right track.

I just hit a curb after fishtailing and brke my rear axle man, on the way to my clinic...fucking snow.Wish me luck

Why not. Always good to experiment especially at a good deal like that. Considering a small bottle of superthrive is 9.00 at walmart lol.

Looking good, I've been away working for a while so thought I would check in. Are you ok from your accident? Is your Afghani growing faster than your other plants? (might be male if so). I'd really hope yours is a female, that strain is suppose to put you in vegetable/im melting mode based on what I've read.

I don't know about the burner man, if you have the space and funds I suppose go for it but also remember you're gonna have way more weed than you can smoke as it is without it. I ordered my seeds a few weeks after you and last week popped a few, both freebie Afghani (one didn't pop) and two Lemon Kush. I'll be running them outside until they get too obvious then bring them in. (we have helicopters over the neighborhood almost every night) The problem is I already have enough cured bud to last me until next Nov-Dec so I'm keeping these new plants small. I think that is what is going to happen to you, you're going to have so much weed you might start to down scale or sale (which I don't recommend).

Just a heads up, I found this place too for more variety and they are in the US. There are threads in the seedbank section and people are getting their seeds. I have reservations but probably will order a pack or two, they are very inexpensive.

Thank you for the seed site, I wanted to keep it within the country if possible! The afghanis (i have 3 bigger ones and 2 seedlings) are23 days old and the other plants are about 17 so id say they are about the same. My strawberry blue is the same hheight but not as bushy, I have all fem seeds except the afghani.. I make sure I get it to 70 F at night, and its never over 80 during the day, avg is a perfect 78. My hygrometer says theres only 25%humidity when I have a small humidifier and a big bucket of water in there (I DONT live in a dry state.)

I have 500 watts cfl in tent right now, I was going to move the cfl to a dresser and put my Metal Halide in my tent. My fan is my weakness, 8 inch ventech duct BOOSTER fan 420 cfm; it sucks the sides of my tent in so theres good negative pressure. Its a 600 watt 8 inch radiant hood, I dont have the actual silver ducting but if I keep the temps down can that be do able till I do get the ducting?

Ill be watching ur afghani, I have no experience so I am all over grow journals (that start with preveg.) Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it. We ended up having to pay 590$ to put the rear axle back on or whatever. Fricking girlfriend cant drive for shit!! Lol

Sounds like you might be in luck with the afghanis, still early but usually the males will grow much more vigorous than females and you can get and idea if they are male before going 12/12 to find out.

Temps are good, I have that same inline as you and it's cheaper to buy the 8 inch to 6 inch reducer and then the 6 inch duct. As for running the fan by itself right now I think you'd just have to try it ( I think it would work though) but I know it's a hassle. Maybe just keep going as you are until you get the ducting if you don't have time to mess around with testing it out.

Sucks about the axle but at least you guys are ok.

I don't think I'm going to chronicle anything until I harvest then do a smoke report, keeping them small anyway, I don't want the hassle of larger plants right now. Too much work now, starting a pretty massive vegetable garden now, have a family member that will be staying here next month etc plus I've got enough already but just want the variety.

Thanks for your help. I set up the metal halide forget cfl..!! I have all my plants under it right now, will move smaller plants out tomorrow. I can open a window or crank the central air if it gets too hot, im so excited. Its dimmable ballast, is it ok to use th3 dimmer or am I ok leaving it at 100%?

I understand, must be nice to have a few harvests under your belt, I still buy a half o every friday! 170! Its good but jeez.

I have a beautiful garden outside my house, im going to grow few small indicas my girlfriend wants a greenhouse..id like to make one if possible but either way we wanted to grow legal vegetables so id be interested in talking about gardening with youin the future my friend.

Looking good man! You should see big improvements in growth pretty quickly with the MH running now. As long as it's not too hot in there leave it at 100% just keep a closer eye on them the first few days and if it looks like the top leaves are bleaching a bit raise the light or dim the ballast. You can run it at 50% for a day then the next 75% then leave it at 100% to be safe but I don't think a 600 will cause any problems at first since you already had a good amount of light on them.

Yeah that's a lot of money to be spending. That will be a problem of the past in a few months. Growing regular stuff is a great way to learn a lot too plus you can test out all kinds of things and it's not expensive. Flood and Drain, DWC , clones, transplants or just general experimenting. It's a lot of fun. Another perk is everyone sees all these plants everywhere all the time so nobody gets suspicious when they see a hydro parts or bags of soil laying around the place in Feb lol.

they are doing very well under the metal halide, still just giving water. If the afghani yellows anymore I am giving it nutes but for now ill play it safe. Just got 8 bottles from Nectar For The Gods so I wanted to go 8rganic with a plant or two..they aren't in supersoil though ill figure it out.

What do you think?

Yea I just saw it. You have strawberry blue and so do I! Its my only sativa, I think it is sativa anyway. Thanks for stopping by, I have a few helpful people on here and appreciate everyone thanks guys!
