Hey thx for the info I think I been overdosing my girls on calmag , is there a reason why you use ro water and not your tap water??? Just curious if I should stick to ro water & just cut out the calmag or change to tap and still cut out the calmag, my tap water is good low ppms ph about 7.8 straight out the tap. And it's free... so Wich ones better ro or tap water???

My tap water is poison, I don't drink it and I don't let my dogs drink it either. Very high arsenic levels. Unfortunately I have to use it for bathing and cleaning clothes/dishes.
There isn't much choice for me, if I can't drink or cook with my tap water, I'm definetly not giving it to my plants.
As far as CalMag, I took a look at my nutrient labels and decided there should be more than enough calcium and magnesium in those to make up for none being in my water.
I can get RO water pretty cheap where I'm at, costs me 3 dollars a week for 12 gallons.

Man I been paying 1.50$ a gallon , of ro.. because i heard it was better that tap ,but I been giving a good dose of calmag with each water because I was told that's what I needed to do, but my tap water is pretty good here so I'm just gonna switch to tap & no ca mag. & I teaspoon floranova per gal of water..

I don't grow organically, I use GH nutes in a hydro system. Some guys run bennies, I run a sterile res, just 2 different ways to the same end result....... a healthy root system

Damn, are you buying it at a grocery store or something?
I'd be willing to bet that your plants problems are the result of a lockout caused by too much calcium.
High levels of calcium will lockout boron, iron and magnesium.

yes yes yes... I totally agree with you to much cal mag ... well I gave them a good flush today in a couple days I'll give them an average feed... hope everything clears up ... im toward the end already .... but no I worded it wrong my bad lol .. I pay 1.50$ for a five gall jug of ro water ....

LMAO your silly if you think I sacrifice any quality my friend but its ok, you can grow your way and I'll keep growing mine. There are many different ways to grow A+ nugs, I was just choosing to share what I do with the OP. For the record the same result that I mentioned was "a healthy root system". I never compared our growing styles or end results
, I prefer to keep an open mind to what others choose to do. I've smoked dank weed in many places, that was grown many different ways. It would be foolish to think any of those growers was doing something wrong because he did it different then myself. Just the same as I know there are flaws in my grow and I would never claim otherwise. The most important thing here is that we all enjoy our product however we get it.....

Every one has there own ways to growing, but sharing that knowledge, and how you do it your way ,is what alows us to expand ,get better and most important it lets us grow some dank ass buds/meds!!! So keep growing your own way and sharing the details so we all can learn from it ,

Cupped or curled leaves, rust looking spotting that spreads, brittle fan leaves, also stunted/deformed new growth. It will look like a bunch of dificencies or a ph issue going on at once.
