1. Most politicians speak in platitudes sometimes. Barak speaks in platitudes all the time.

no, polls are useless. it's all about voting. am i a clinton fan?? well, i'll tell you this much. i liked the condition of our country financially, a lot more after he left office, than i will when bush slides on out. this whole drilling controversy is just so he and his oil buds can make more money. as a matter of fact, i wouldn't be surprised if this whole oil fiasco was specifically planned by bush and co.

I heard that the Bush family actually has more money in the pharmaceutical business rather than oil. That could explain the seemingly exponential increase in synthetic heroine and other addictive prescription drugs. Maybe I'll go and see if I can find any info on the hearsay.

Lets not forget that Afghanistan was/is the worlds biggest opium producer too!! Now we have military bases over there, along with the other ~70% of countries in the world, that have USA military bases.

I could make some speculations, but let me see if I can't find more evidance...:mrgreen:

LOL!!! hussein, that's laughable. i bet that's supposed to make us think he's somehow a closet militant/terrorist. (bush is the terrorist.) it's just a name. thousands of people have that name. i like his ideas on healthcare, foreign policy, the economy etc. i'm not going to pretend i know his platform inside and out. i'm sure he (and mccain) don't even have it figured out. i kinda like mccain. but there are some key issues that i won't ignore. he wants to stay in iraq and fight forever. didn't he say he thought the american people didn't care if we were there for 100 years? well, i care. i don't think we even belong there. and who says that if we leave, we lose, mccain??? you have to choose your battles carefully, on this one we didn't.

I would point out to you Vi, that med's typical mode is to hi-jack a threat and take off to the woods with it.

So the real point is this, no proof has been offered into evidence that John Mc Cain is a racist. This thread has NOTHING to do with MLK.
