77f with a 600w hps? If so then id say your set as long as your house doesnt get much hotter then that. However, i am a noob, and for some reason im thinking 600watts is overkill for 660 square inches.. And yes 12/12 from a seedling. It won't get much veg growth but it wont get as big either. I have a hard time fitting my single lst"ed bushed out indica in my 2x8 feet of space.
how long did u veg? ive got some bagseeds going...waiting on herbies order....

I vegged for 7 weeks, you can take about 1.5 weeks off of that, she stunted her growth twice. 1st was because of fungus gnats at week 3 of seedling 2nd was because i topped and fim'ed her. I only noticed the topping that stunted her growth though. even bag seeds can be good, atleast all the bag seeds I've tried out here in hawaii, you just wont know untill you try it.

I am still learning much, but if you can actually get that 600w hps in there without stressing the plant by light, heat and giving very good ventilation, id say your in for a good learn and grow process. You've got the lighting to have a good yield, keep them thriving, healthy, dont overdue your nutes(do not over water) and check your water quite oftenly with that much light in a 3 square feet. Its not about learning what you need to grow, its more or less what the plant wants and needs to grow. My first grow loved nitrogen, i could feed at high ppm levels and not have any stress, my current grow will stress out at even half reccomended doses of nutes in the same soil and pot. Right now, your most important factor is ventilation and the way you aim your light for that 600w hps because im not so sure if your height will even allow 600watts of gas over a plant. If it doesn't, you will just have to figure out a way to diffuse some light away, assuming you want to stick with that space and light.

if your grow room is as small as you say it is maybe one plant either topped or fimmed would do nicely
ok...ty...how can I grow more in that little space...??? if it was jus bagseeds??? got like 13 going don't know if there male or female tho

ALLWAYS use at quarter strength..but its fine..in fact, after some studying, you'll realize all the industry is hype, and so is most growing methods, and a steady balanced diet for your plants is all you need, start to finish..no high nitrogen this week, more phosphorus next, ect...
I'd veer away from tap water and if you can splurge, get a tri meter..your questions about nutrients will end at that point.

TRI METER?
Measure the ppm,pH,and temp of the water/nutes.
500-700ppm in dirt is usually the area you shoot for..it takes all the guess work out of feeding, and mixing nutes..add nutes minutely till you get your number right, adjust your p.h. and done.

I let tap water set 24 hrs....I have nothing for nutes...but 10-10-10...plant food....then right before flowering...its 0-10-10...something? should I get veg food? then something for flower/bloom???

I'll hear shit for this but high n in flowers is not what it needs, higher p is the usual need..
But not overfeeding, and making what the plant needs available WHEN it needs it is the key.a general purpose fert like jacks is easy to find and use..just be easy with it..the package instructions ARE ALLWAYS WRONG NEVER FOLLOW THEM. you WILL burn your plants if so..their only purpose is to use up the product quicker,lol..use at quarter to half strength..
Get a cheap fish take bubbler, and put an air stone in the water..oxygen breaks down chloramine and chlorine..12 hrs is OK,I go 36 though..

Jacks citrus 20-10-20 from start to finish a lot of big growers use It u could use the 10-10-10 in different amounts the whole grow and get goods results. That said jacks citrus is 9.99 for 1.5 lbs tub it'll last quite a few grows and has a lot of little things like trace elements that make it the reason I'm suggesting

How is the summer treating you in that space? Air cooled hood was a good choice.. without it, I couldn't see a 600 in that closet working. Even a 400 would make for a sauna
