Today is seventeen days from first sprout for two of my eight plants. The other six are about fourteen days old. A couple are obviously lagging behind. The rest are growing but it seems to me, rather slowly. Lighting is 18/6 three 65W CFL,under a reflector. I light with sunlight when possible. I very lightly fed them a commercial plant food (20-20-20) diluted to 1/4 the recommended strength about a week ago. I cut the bottom off the peat pots before I put them into the larger pots.
What's your opinion of the state of my plants ?

How old are they, pacbud99 ?
This is day 2, did you say that yours are 14 -17 days are those the most recent picture? With 3 65 watt cfl.

my seedlings are with my other plants under 600 watt MH 18/6.
IMHO Cfl's are good for keeping mothers alive & very early seedling stage - for everything else I fire up 2 600's & they practically jump out of the pot's to get to the light.

For veg use a 600 watt MH (Metal Halide) bulb, HPS is great for flower cycle.
Growing is a learning process.
