You assume I'm referring to you?
I can't assume anything with you since your presentation was aloof, simple minded and vapid.

"Oh come on. Did you ever realize that 1/2 the people you will ever know are below average intelligence?"
I only hang with the bright ones though, i suppose of that subset, 1/2 are below the average of the group.
What type of engineer? I'm also an engineer, but we don't do group thinking. We build individual parts then assemble, one brain per part. 5+ brains = epic fail.Oh come on. Did you ever realze that 1/2 the people you will ever know are below average intelligence?
And the brighter you are the harder you are to work with?
I only work with groups in tech. One engineer's decision making is abysmal. It doesn't matter if they are Steve Jobs or James Gosling (JAVA) they cannot function alone.
Nothing of any note has been done single highhandedly except solution to thorny math problems.
There are assholes amongst usFixed it.

The problem with group think is it's a popularity contest, and it's never based on who is more likely to be correct or more intelligent. So the group usually picks a very poor but popular choice. In the case of Cree, it is a very good product, but in many cases very poor selection based on actual user needs/benefits.
Don't be foolish you are building, but some team planned it.
What kind of Engineer are you may I ask, since you did and I answered?

I'm also software (Data Warehouse), and I'm usually the one who designs the whole thing, beginning to end. When I get the misfortune of getting something someone else or a group designed, I usually have to redo it.
