Hi BJammin, tell us more about your lights. What do you have in real watts, temperature measured in K, number of bulbs, and grow space size for starters?

That stretch is because it is looking for more light. Good thing you got more. 6400K Full Spectrum Daylight would be more optimal for veg. though. Good luck!

Yes that's what I was aware off. Any more suggestions before I run to the garden store. Plus a recommendation on a good auto female for a beginner. I appreciate you taking the time to help. When u say 6400k that's kelvin right. I know alls I have at the moment is just a pot under a lamp but this setup will change soon but do u think that the cfl setup for just my own personal medicine is a good way to go or not?

Yes kelvin. I recommend just hanging out on here a bit a reading posts. There are many camps, some love CFL. some HID, others LED. CFL is good way to start. I'm vegging a couple plants under a some 6500 CFL's right now but will flower under a 250w MH HID.

Armoire ? Man that would be your best bet. But you have to get more light... I understand about not spending a lot of money. But you have to spend something to get a cool grow. If not your going to have junk...I would try to get something beside cfls for the armoir just cus it really want save you anything...the heat will still be there if you try to shove 8 cfls in

Might i recommend you to Crop kings Feminized Auto flowering strain Early-Miss info+order page below (recommended bc of yield)
http://www.cropkingseeds.com/products-page/strains/early-miss/
Now first things first is Proximity to Foliage i can't stress that enough!! you can only have 2 - 3 ''s of space between your CFL's and your girls at MOST if you don't want to have long stretchy plants or airy/poofy buds. I have had plants tolerate an inch but they were in full flower.
Deuce is you want at least 80-100W of CFL per flowering plant for decent budding results. Thirds is Lighting Spectrum! anything under 4000K is optimal for flowering and anything above 4000k is likewise, optimal for vegging.
You should try going to your local hardware store for these babies (pic below) You can do amazingly simple setups like the one below
keep er up and keep me posted !

Thank you for the tips and will keep you up to date. I thought I new my medicine turns out I didn't know much but that's going to change. We're i live medicinal cards are givin only for three ailments which are life threatening but the will write you a script of highley addictive pain meds or psych meds. Natural medicine is the only way to go.

I tired my first grow with CFL and World of seeds Northern lights X Big Bud Auto. Responded very well to LST.
My CFL's were too close and the top buds got fried.

Like i said i am not that good and I have brunt my top buds with too much heat. Here is my pics from the first grow with CFL.

If you lookup online you will see people keep small 12-40 watt CFL's 1/2 to 2 inches from plant. Monitor temperature and keep good ventilation if you keep CFL less than 1 inch. I use this for temperature and humidity.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013BKDO8
This CFL setup was 4 X 27Watt 2700K, a 40Watt 6500K and a 40 Watt 3700K . 1 to 2 splitter and 1 to 4 splitter and reflector. For my grow I use a tall moving cardboard boxes. Box was about 18 x18 x 40 inches. Cut a hole for Fan. I use a USB fan. Mylar reflector on the box walls helped a lot. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00725XBGG
if you need a long tern solution go for a grow tent instead of a cardboard box and trying to stick mylar.small once on ebay around $60
In total i had about 200 watts and it was a lottt of heat in that small box. I am actually not sure if I have just too much light.
I started just like you with 1 CFL then 2 and then 6 more and the cost just kept adding up and the light was never enough.
If i would have known I would have got a proper grow CFL 125 watts like this

For seedlings i recommend the warm light 10watt LED bulbs as they do not give of too much heat. Use the LED bulbs that focus light down and are not omnidirectional. Got them for 10-15$ from china
http://www.ledbulbsandlights.com/e27-led-bulb-7-watt-replaces-60-watt-incandescent.html

Check my 2nd grow thread. I have also attached pics. I used the same grow box.
https://www.rollitup.org/t/northern-grow-lights-led-ufo-with-northern-lights-x-big-bud-auto-flower.828193/#post-10686114

These lights had way better penetration than CFL. Less heat. More safe and more light. A simple cheep UFO was for $60-$80 on ebay. I spent a little more and got a UFO X light with secondary optics.

With CFL was doing height adjustments almost everyday. With LED height adjustments are not required as frequently. I started with a metal chain and hook for height adjustment and then found rope ratchets very cool. My light came with this ratchet.
Only downside to LED was the fan noise in the LED.Fan noise was not an issue for me.
