Sealed room cooling question

If you are running 3600 watts in a 12x8x8 room would a 16000 btu portable dual hose ac be able to keep Temps around 90 if the hoods are all opened and not being air cooled with a fan pushing air from another room. Trying to get co2 running but the air is coming in and dissipating my co2 too fast went through 40 lbs in 6 days. Besides that the room is sealed and I thought the lights where air tight but apparently not.

I'm using the big king cobra reflectors but they seem to leak air really bad when air is being pushed through them even when I tape around them they leak around the glass.

So tldr version can a 16000 btu ac keep 3600 watts of lighting at 85 to 90 degrees for co2 with the hoods open in a 12x8x8 room.

You pull air thru the hoods. And each 1kw lamp will put out over 4k btu so 16k btu would probably be pushing it.
Also portables are very inefficient, even the dual hose ones. Mini split at about 24k btu would probably suit your needs plus they are very efficient unlike portables.

What's the cost of a miniskirt(lol autocorrect) these days.

I'm looking a short term fix for now if I can get 20 lbs to last just 1 week I'm happy with that.

Also I've always been under the impression you can push or pull air through hoods. I know it's not as efficient but I'm not looking for efficiency in that department. Unless you think sucking up co2 was better than dissipating it?

Hopefully I can just skip the air cooling all together. It's 3 1ks and a 600 watt.

That's not that bad I thought they where more than that. After this grow I could pick one up that's larger to do 2 rooms maybe. Well next harvest I mean it's perpetual setup.

They sell multizone units too so there may be savings buying one of those if you plan on more than one room.

I did say "can be". Try getting a price like that thru mitsubishi. Also I should have mentioned wiring.

yeah, mitsu's are the most expensive. I bought a dyken 5 years ago for $1800 and that was wholesale because i am an a/c contractor. I have installed a few of those cheap ones too. they work fine as long as you keep them maintained.

spent over 10 years as a tech, about 12 years running my own company. Then when the market took a shit and people were losing their houses, i had to seek out a different career, now I am in the weed industry for about 5 years.
