Last time I checked, people can hire whoever they want to put/fix a roof. If the customer chooses to pay for cheap ass labor so they can have more house, what's it to you?

Also, G&C, it's not as simple as you're making it out to be. These circular arguments rarely are.

I get that you're frustrated by shoddy work from your peers, but why not just let your work speak for itself? Ask your customers if you can use them for a reference when you scout for that next roofing job.

Ah, ok. The only thing you can do man, is stay proud. You're fighting an uphill battle, but if you want to make the world a better place, take the high road. I'm guessing you're around 25? That's the age where reality really sets in and you realize this world is full of takers. Life isn't fair, but like I said, you can be part of the problem or the solution. Peace.

Dude, I do get your point. You think "these Mexicans" you speak about are the first to do shoddy work? I don't think any group corners the market on slipshod carpentry. Do you? YOu honestly don't know any white dudes that do shitty sub par work?

Nobody in their right fucking mind would want to work in construction anymore.
That may be the reason the construction industry is having such a hard time keeping a work force.
It's a dirty nasty difficult job , nothing appealing about it one bit if you don't pay a wage.

I think every guy should know how to fix/build shit though. The latest batches of "men" in our country don't seem to know how to change a lightbulb.

Personally I don't pay anyone to do anything for me, If I can't fix/install it , it doesn't need to be done.
I enjoy home projects but working for someone not so much, if you're gonna make 50 dollars an hour off my labor at least pay me 25.

"Jessie you need to move with a sense of urgency" so I try to do this and they still complain, I don't know what this has to do with your topic but that's my worklife, but if I could I.would love to just not work I hate work.
