I've voted for "doesn't matter to me i just grow weed". I have respect for some breeder's work but I have no problem with other companies using these strains. It's no secret recipe like for Coca Cola and we should all be interested in the development of any promising or established strain.
Also, Lots of the original strains are only available as regular seeds. While i respect the decision of the breeders not to release a feminized version of their gear i still want to or have to grow fems. I would be really grateful for any company to release a fem version of any bodhi strain, many Mr Nice strains, Sensi stuff, whatever. For example, if i want to grow AK47 in limited space i would go with Pyramid's selected fems and not with the original. If i am really interested in the strain and have time and space then i would probably go with the original breeder's gear but why not throwing in some other company's version of the same stuff?
Also, why should i buy an original strain for a lot of money if i only read bad things about it in forums? Some genetics are just degraded or tricky to grow but some other company may have stabilized it or made it easier to grow? Info from other growers and from internet research influence my decision more than any ethics because i just want nice results.
