That IS sad. Fortunately, this rink is well supported and sees plenty of business.

Roller rinks used to be a central feature of a town's social life. Now it's bars and video games.

I'm not a couch potato and I'll be damned if I let my daughter grow up to be one, either.
In my hometown, the roller rink was a place where all us pre-teens met up for handplay. Fingered my first girlfriend and got my first 30 sec bj there. Drank my first 40 there too.

So maybe it's a good thing its closed for your daughter honestly.
