Hey guys
I am currently detoxing for my own sake (currently off for just over 72 hours) and the withdrawal effects are NOTICEABLE...
I noticed a change in my habits, that I was spending more time toking instead of working. I've decided to stop weed completely for a week or maybe two just to get my mind back on track and to finish up all of my assignments and chores.
Basically, the first thing I noticed is that it's harder to fall asleep. Since I usually smoke at night time, I guess my body got used to having that amount of weed in my system so it was kinda like asking me "well boy, where's it at doe?" and over the last 3 days I haven't been able to fall asleep until around past 6-7am (keep note that I usually went to bed around 3-4am if I toke at night) I had insomnia prior to starting marijuana though, so maybe weed even helped me with my insomnia, but that's just too medical for me, I wouldn't be able to answer that question since I'm not a doctor. I did notice a difference in my sleep while waking up (on the second day and third so far, maybe it'll keep going) I am able to wake up at a time that I want to wake up, and I never feel TOO tired and keep sleeping in.
Second, loss of appetite. I didn't crave any single piece of food for over 30 hours, and usually I feel extremely tired and dead if I don't eat. In my case I feel extremely energetic, and I even went to the gym twice in a row to maybe try and sweat more since I heard it helped the detox process. Even after the gym I do not feel any appetite, and I still feel energetic.
Third, sweating. I started sweating a little more than usual, for example usually when I speed walk I don't sweat too much, but now when I speed walk to class for example when I'm a little late I get to class and start sweating a bit after.
These are the biggest changes I've encountered while detoxing from weed. I will continue on updating as I go.
I am planning to detox for about a few weeks before I start smoking again just to restart my little tolerance cycle. That way I'll be saving more money and get longer highs perhaps
Hope this helps to anyone thinking of doing something like me, so they can expect what may be coming towards them if they ever decide to stop for a while.
