People say when branch snaps you can tape it and will live tried 2x failed both?

II don't know both times my branch/stem snapped twice because of failed attempt at supper crop, I did it from a weak spot from a steam that was fairly weak and new and from a poor area.
I tapped it back up each time once using masking tape and once foil strong duct tape and each time half of it was only snapped other half was still attached, the leaves died and didn't make it in less than 12 hours.

Was still connected :/ idk I also have difficulties strapping the tape around the stem due to complication of other leaves and stem in the way and the size of the tape makes it difficult to go around and I did do it so it matches it was still connected.

Erm no it's in really good health nice green leaves no problems I've cropped it before.

I would suggest trying LST, tie down branches instead of hurting your girl.just take top of tallest branches and twist tie them or hang a weight off of end of string. as each branch tries to be new dominate one, you tie it down.

Update I actually just check the stem seems to be alive just the leaves are dead I took a small cut from one of the smaller stem connected to it from the leaf that died the stem is still wet and green and looks like new leaves shooting out of it, I will share, if you look closely you can see the 2 new shoots are still alive I think due to the top dying it has automatically topped off the plant to 2 new tops (btw 1 weeks into veg)

Yeah I seen that trick, or I've heard of another technique where you grab one of the leaves from the stem and you tape it to the plant pot so it weighs it down.
I'm also trying new techniques on my new growth on starting low stress training from early age to get the main stem to actually grow bent and make it more flexible by adjusting the light to different positions and moving the plants around.

Fucked up thing is the same thing happened last time and the stem looked exactly the same I got upset and stressed and no longer could look at the dead branch so I ripped it off, had I left it, it would of probably recovered.

get smaller girl fingers and stop being so aggressive:)

apply firm pressure SLOWLY until u feel it pop THEN STOP ...... If you apply firm pressure FAST you will go past the pop and it will snap :)

slow firm pressure until pop then stop:)

I do that bro, I even to support it grab the top of the stem from bot end to provide support and leave 1 finger under the part where the bend is going to take place, I don't know why some stems/branches instantly snap without barely any force. Plant is also healthy too and not lacking in anything so it can't be that.

try genty twisting until it gives alittle and fall down :)

So twist them instead of bending them? like left and right? one hand toward left one hand towards right? never heard of that, how good is it?

yeah ...dont apply pressure which obviously your strain cant take well and just twist them alittle where you want it to bend ....... It works trust me :)
