Good CBD varieties ?

Any one with experience, feel free to chime in.

Seed form appreciated, but some of us have access to clones too so let's hear it.

Personally I ran CBD Nordle from Dinafem and was shocked at how nice it is to smoke. It looks pretty.. unappealing. Smells very nice though and unique. After the first 1/3 of a joint shared between 3 people last night (regular sized half gram or so) I couldn't keep the smile off my face. Then the giggles came. This is the kind of weed that is rare to find for me. I am shocked, truly.

It wasn't what I was expecting. Very heady. Also seemed to relax the body, but man, it was really doing something in my head.

All three of us, regular all day tokers, felt the same way about it. All of us were really surprised and pleased. I'd seriously doubt if this tested at more than 6/6 or 7/7 THC/CBD. Doesn't matter though, it does the job.

thats great too hear! im sitting on some harlequin bx ill be getting too sooner than later. just talked to a friend with access to testing n theyre more then ready to help considering they have an inoperable brain tumor. id love to start taking cbd caps as well.

I tried the pennywise with no luck, I am waiting to go pick up a clone of something CBD instead. I don't like the guessing game when it comes to wether or not a strain will contain it.

anyways, my brother in law was a navy seal. Was undercover in the middle east, was imprisoned & tortured, etc...

He retired and came home, with PTSD and a few other mental probs. trust me, with what he went through - he is doing much MUCH better then you would expect. He has a beautiful wife and 2 young daughters. He smokes some meds every once in a while when he is having a really bad day or cant sleep. (He was always against canna use before entering the military).

He keeps asking, almost begging for me to find a very very high CBD strain with the LOWEST possible amount of THC. He wants the medical benefits without the actual affects of getting high. He wants to be functional, he cant handle being high.

Is there any way that this would even be possible? Anyone know of a possible strain like this? If it is from seed, is it like a pheno I have to search for? Pop 20 beans and hope to find one, but then I would have to have each plant tested?

Sorry if some of this is pretty common knowledge, but I am oretty ignorant when it comes to CBD rich canna.

You might have had one and not known it. I know they guarantee 50/50 from seed for this particular plant I grew. I suppose it might not be, I didn't test it. But it definitely is different than anything else I smoke, but yet it is also a strong high.

i tested them, they didn't have any cbd. It was only a 5 pack though what can I expect. Got 2 males and 3 females so out of 3 none of them had it. If I would have had 2 more females there might have been some cbd? who knows.

males couldve been the cbd plant.

ill be testing every pheno by lab. im gonna be looking for 1:1 and a high cbd/low or no thc phenos. if i find it your friend can get a cut.

Strong chance the gene is there still in recessive form.

Sounds excellent. From what I've read the 4:1 THC:CBD does very well in a test tube against certain cancers. There is a need for a wide variety of ratios as well. Trying to get those ratio's stable while maintaining vigor and all the other important features we crave from a plant - that's the real trick.

Good thread OGE. I have grown quite a few high cbd plants over the last couple years, 3 clone only's and 1 from seed (cbd crew critical mass). The clone only's are/were HP-Tonic, Valentinex, and Cannatonic #4. All have been lab tested and ranged from 8% cbd to 20% cbd, and all had around 1% or less THC.

I've found a few similarities with all of them. They definitely get you high (despite what some folks say) albeit a different type of high. They all did kinda poorly in soil, but seem to thrive in hydro. Sounds odd, but that's been my experience. They also all have a weird taste that I don't really care for.

I'm currently running the Cannatonic #4 (14% cbd 1% thc) in DWC bucket and it is doing great. It struggled big time in my organic soil. I may grab another HP-Tonic too which is 20% cbd and <1% thc. Very sativa plant.

Wish you guys lived close by. I'd love to give you all some cuts of these as I have seen some miraculous outcomes from folks that have tried them and struggle with various ailments

This Nordle has a distinct but really nice flavor.

Yeah, I can already tell the medical benefits just smoking a bit of it... aches all gone. It's weird too, despite being high my memory isn't nearly as badly effected.

Im standing in line if you decide to. Bestseedbank has tutorial under videos for making collidal as well.I also dont mind making a donation for your time and effort. Rather give it to someone whos local and community.

I'm on it. And by on it, I mean I am going to give somebody this plant locally here that is a breeder. He knows his shit, and has already expressed interest in breeding with high cbd strains. I will run this by him and let you know.

Worst case scenario I could do it, but full disclosure... I'm a complete noob when it comes to chuckin.

I've grown out Cannatonic and the Cbd Crew Sweet and Sour Widow.... Both plants were dusted with God knows what had a few reversed autos around that time, actually reversed a sweet and sour window cut, a g13 x haze male are a few of the possibilities in those pollen chucked cbd seeds... I'm sure if some one was willing to grow mystery beans they'd find a great cbd strain... The cannatonic I didn't like as much as the widow, though the cannatonic seemed more "uplifting" and the widow reminded me of several autos I've tried specifically a line by the breeder Mossy and her wonderful Dragon Autos.... I've also had from the dispensary a 19% cbd to 8% thc strain that was tested so I know for sure the two cbd plants I grew out def had cbd in them as very similar highs to the one tested.... I got most of all of cbd crews gear, the Barney farms cbd strains, the bodhi ac/dc x good medicine.... Growing so many autos over the years they I think tend to naturally have higher
Amounts of cbd as that's what cbd strains I've had reminded me of... Will be going through them through the years....
