Ordered an air cooled tube that was described as being 6" in diameter with 5" ducting connectors... It wasn't it was just 6" so I contacted seller who apologised and offered a refund. I decided instead to get ducting reducers. The seller told me he would send me two for free if I paid postage. Agreed.

What I don't understand is why a hydroponic, indoor grow seller would stock anything as useless as this. Anyone would think they are just in it to make money!

Holy crap! Selling stuff like that used in high heat application could be a real liability for that company. I'd go back and bitch and get free stuff out of them..
 
your cooltube can't be running too cool if it is melting those! you must have been running it without the fan on because i have used those before with no ill effects (unless mine were of a better grade of plastic, but they did look the exact same).
