Hydroponics VS Soil (plz read)

Pretty much....I like to try as many different things as possible. Then in the end I will be able to know exactly how I like to do it. I think full aero is next for me....I use an aero cloner for cloning and like the speed...so I want to see what its like all the way through.

wrong dude dead uneven with soil.I allready told you my friend grows hydro (all organic) I grow soil. we grow the same strain at the same time and every yeild we test the results with friends.He allways wins the yeild.But the smoke is like night and day.So wake up get over yourself.It is impossible to have the same quality of taste and smoke from hydro.Its 2nd rate period.So if your growing in hydro then your growing for yeild.Nothing wrong with that but stop insulting everyones intelligence by saying you get the same taste and quality.with hydro cause it just makes you a liar.

You can hardly write yet I am to believe your soil grow will outgrow my hydro in quality? You and your friend are probably both incompetent. Quit spouting crap about hydro when you haven't grown using that method. Just because 'your friend' doesn't produce good tasting pot is no reason to call other experienced growers a liar.

Dude, YOU get over yourself. Your experience (you and one other dude) means nothing. This is what I mean about absolutist bullshit. You can grow great weed through a variety of methods, you can grow great tasting bud through a variety of methods. Maybe YOU cant, but others can.

When you boil it down its all chemistry, and you can put exactly whats in soil (down to the microorganisms) into a soiless medium.

oh and my first grow was all organic hydro.I hated the pot and sold my cab to my friend who still uses it and swears by it.So i actually have grown in hydro. and in soil i chose soil you chose your method

The experienced gardener often likes to play, and experiment as they grow. I've done some outdoors, hydro, and soil.

I prefer to "play" and "experiment" with hydro because it is much simpler to be specific, and create controls for different nute regimes etc.

Soil is by far the simplest for anyone. Think about it a 4 year old can stick a seed in almost any soil and get some results. Anyone grown beans in the window??? I think soil is perfect for those like me now who have little time to dedicate, or with almost no $$$ to invest. (Hydro can get really expensive)

With that experience ANY good grower will be able to increase their yields and quality in a short period.

My vote::: got the time, $$$, and want to experiment lots = hydro or areo
little time, no $$$, simple, soil CAN BE the easiest,( plant and water, in
sizeable container, and just leave be)

For a little of both try an "areo basket" ( areo sponge, connected to airpump w/ airstone under soil

Well put Eagle Eyes. Hydro isn't for everyone. And neither is soil. I personally prefer hydro, only because it gives me a greater control over 'all' of the elements involved, so I can 'play' and 'toy' with things. Makes it more fun and interesting to me. If all that was involved was putting a seed in a pot and watering every few days, I'd probably get bored with it after two or three grows. But that's just me. I am interested in trying a completly organic soil grow some time in the near future, but then again that's just the toying side of me again.
