Little help? Can't figure it out

I've got two bag seed plants a little more than 6 weeks old and I've got lower leaves yellowing, turning brown, and dropping off. They're in pro mix potting soil (0.3 - 0.1 - 0.1) with four 100W cfl bulbs. I haven't fed them anything but tap water (seems to range from 6.9 - 7.2ph but usually 7) but I do have Botanicare Grow, Bloom, Cal Mag, and Liquid Karma. I can't figure out what's going on based on other pics. The yellowing looks like an N or Mg deficiency, which would make sense since I haven't fed them, but the tips of most leaves look brown and burnt. It does get a little warm in there but not ridiculous (not sure how warm, thermometer broke), and I mist them with plain water a few times a day. I water once a week, unless they're completely dried out. They've both been topped and lst'd for space while indoors.

I'm planning on these being mothers. It'll be my first time taking cuttings. I'm not worried about them being male or hermie because I will be planting a bunch of cuttings I get every year from a buddy in a different garden. This is mostly just gaining experience, but I need healthy plants lol

I've got tonnes of seeds, so I'd like to get this figured out sooner than later so I can plant another crop if need be.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot

The first plant is the worst. Much more burnt tips, yellowing with brown spots and far less secondary growth. The second has burnt tips and some yellowing but a lot more secondary growth and just looks better. BTW that's just spilled soil on the ground that's been circulated by run-off. Cleaning it up is a pain in the ass due to the location of my cabinet (I'm very tight for discreet space at the moment). I'll get it between grows lolIMG_20150306_090223.jpg IMG_20150306_090249.jpg

Dont look like you added any perlite, is drainage good? Need to get the PH down some and start feed at 1/4 strength. When you up pot i would add some perliet to it, and maybe some lime mixed in to help buffer the PH.

They need more potassium from the looks of those leaves.

More perlite would also be good to get more air to the roots.

Thanks for the replies

The drainage is pretty good. I guess it could be better, but I wouldn't say there's a big issue there. My soil says it already has it, but I'll add some perlite and lime. I think my ph might be the biggest issue. I'll start feeding low doses and see what happens. I would have started earlier but, like I said, it looks like the tips are burnt so I didn't want to make it worse.

I'm using pro-mix potting mix. Says "guaranteed minimum 0.3 - 0.1 - 0.1 with sphagnum, peat moss, peat humus and/or composted forest products, coco fibre, perlite, lime, controlled release fertilizer, and mycorrhizae. Ideal for hot and sunny locations. Also includes MycoActive organic growth enhancer which controls water and nutrients uptake". I usually have triple mix and just feed when they show signs, starting at 1/8 strength and building up, but my local nursery doesn't have their supply yet so I went with what I had.IMG_20150308_113617.jpg
