How in the hell did hc lose $6 a gram growing bunk in a mine shaft they owned.
We all know for a fact they didnt spend anything on genetics lol
If you cant grow reasonably priced meds in a location you own with a hydro company u own than how is an lp supposed to work?

And fuck her and everyone that looks like her!
You have to look at the relationship between PPS and HC...they're friends!
I've posted and so has oddish the details of that contract.

Jeannine Ritchot, director ...
www.brandonsun.com, 23 July 2013 [cached]
Jeannine Ritchot, director of medical marijuana regulatory reform at Health Canada, said the price shouldn't go up under the new program. She said the aim of the new program is to create a competitive environment for the companies that want to sell marijuana.

"In a competitive market environment, there's not going to be incentive for one company to set a really high price," Ritchotsaid.

The idea for the new program was to treat marijuana like any other medication, she said.

"You can't manufacture your own Tylenol ... in your own home, so we're trying to move to a state of play where we treat marijuana the same way we treat all those other drugs,"she said.

Except you say that mmj has no medicinal value....hmmmm.....

"The MMAR [was] never intended to permit such widespread, large-scale production," Health Canada'sformer director of medical marijuana regulatory reform,Jeannine Ritchot, said in a court affidavit filed on Feb. 7.
...
Despite the predicted increase in consumption, society as a whole will benefit from the new regime, Ms. Ritchot says inher affidavit. The large-scale commercial operators will offer better cannabis products, grown under safer, sanitary conditions. Their facilities will be professionally managed and secured, and will be regularly inspected. "Compliance and enforcement activities can be carried out to the benefit [sic] individual users and the general public," notes Ms. Ritchot.

Then why did HC approve huge g/d licences?
Better cannabis products?....You base this on what?

“The MMAR [was] never intended to permit such widespread, large-scale production,” Health Canada’s former director of medical marijuana regulatory reform, Jeannine Ritchot, said in a court affidavit filed on Feb. 7. “What was originally intended to provide legal access to dried marijuana for a relatively small number of seriously ill Canadians has grown exponentially.”

If that is the intention why do you need the MMPR?

The thing is if I could make Tylenol in my house as easily as I could grow weed I would do it too. Hell I can do my own break job on my car which could put 100's of people at risk everyday.

She refers in her affidavit to “thousands of pieces of correspondence” including “unsolicited letters from homeowners” received by Health Canada over the years, which, she says, help demonstrate “the unintended consequences of the [MMAR].” Her affidavit notes that under the old MMAR system, residential cultivation caused “significant health and safety risks” such as “violence, including home invasion, theft and homicide; the presence of firearms; diversion to the illicit market; the presence of toxic chemicals; various risks to children.”

Ms. Ritchot quotes from more than a dozen letters, including this from a homeowner bothered by a medical marijuana grower living next door: “He has become a very aggressive neighbour,” the letter-writer complained. “We live in constant fear of what he might do to us and our properties. Some of the neighbours had to install surveillance cameras on their houses because they are afraid of what [the licensed grower] and his ‘friends’ will do. We live in a very stressful environment.”

Uh....I call bullshit on that claim

her answers are pissing me off so bad!!! WOW such a "don't give a flying F**k" attitude and showing they don't even know what they did...and yet they knew it wouldn't work.
i guess these lawyers were bored so they contacted HC and said "hey, got anything for us to do?"

Ritchot: "can't confirm", "not aware" & "don't know" about the existence someone maintaining HC database for enforcement purposes

This will help with the Suit against government
i thought they were supposed to notify the local police dept about the grow..and then they said they can't due to privacy...?? which is it?

You could chose to allow HC to notify them on your licence application.
If leo called HC to ask during an investigation then they would confirm details.

Ritchot: She knew while designing the MMPR, as Director of Regulatory Reform, that ALL individuals with need should have access to med-pot

Crown objected to Conroy's questions, saying they were too personal in nature. Justice Phelan said questions were on the right track though

Ritchot agreed with Conroy: She understood that rules couldn't force patients to choose between breaking the law and impacting their health
Cannabis Culture @CannabisCulture
Phelan said: Since MMPR regulations would be based on court decisions, HC should have been paying attention to what those cases entailed
Cannabis Culture @CannabisCulture
Conroy: You are aware that marijuana can not kill you, right? Ritchot: I'm aware that experts wrote such in a document after review facts

Conroy or tousaw, ask HC reps how many complaints or investigations are ongoing against certain lp's
For engaging in sketchy deals
